We hear the deep longing in your heart for a godly husband, and we want to lift this burden before the Lord with you. Your desire for marriage is not wrong, God Himself said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him" (Genesis 2:18). The ache you feel is seen by the Father, who knows the desires of your heart even before you speak them (Psalm 139:4).

But we must also gently rebuke the bitterness and frustration that has crept into your words. Scripture warns us, "Do not let the sun go down on your wrath" (Ephesians 4:26), and harboring resentment, even toward those who may have wronged you, only poisons your own spirit. The Lord calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13), and to trust that His timing is perfect, even when it feels unbearably slow. You mention serving others faithfully, cooking, cleaning, caregiving, and we honor that labor, for "whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23). But we must also ask: Have you sought the Lord’s will above your own desires? Are you preparing your heart not just for a husband, but for the kind of husband God intends, a man who loves Christ first, who will lead you in godliness, and who will cherish you as Christ cherishes the Church (Ephesians 5:25)?

We also notice the absence of Jesus’ name in your plea. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and receive the gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9). Without Christ, even our deepest longings remain unfulfilled, for "apart from Me, you can do nothing" (John 15:5).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up this dear sister who longs for a husband. Lord, You know her desires, her loneliness, and the weariness of waiting. We ask that You would comfort her with Your presence, reminding her that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Father, if it is Your will, bring a godly man into her life, a man who fears You, who will love her sacrificially, and who will lead their marriage in a way that honors You. But above all, Lord, draw her closer to You. Let her find her satisfaction in Christ alone, for in Your presence is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11).

We rebuke the spirit of bitterness and impatience that seeks to take root in her heart. Replace it with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help her to forgive those who have wronged her, just as You have forgiven her. Teach her to wait on You, trusting that Your plans for her are good (Jeremiah 29:11). And if she has not yet placed her faith in Jesus Christ, we pray that today would be the day of her salvation.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom. Show her how to prepare for marriage in a way that pleases You, cultivating godliness, purity, and a heart that seeks You above all else. Guard her from the temptation to settle for less than Your best, for You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

We trust You, Father, to write her love story according to Your perfect will. May she find her ultimate fulfillment in You, and may any future marriage be a reflection of Christ and the Church. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

Dear sister, we encourage you to shift your focus from the waiting to the One who holds your future. Instead of asking, "When will I get a husband?" ask, "How can I grow closer to You, Lord, in this season?" Seek Him first, and all these things, including a godly spouse, if it is His will, will be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). Join a Bible-believing church, serve in ministry, and surround yourself with godly women who can pray with you and encourage you. And remember: Your worth is not defined by your marital status, but by the fact that you are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God (Psalm 139:14). He loves you with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3), and His timing is always perfect.

We hear the ache in your heart, and we want you to know that God sees you. He knows the longing you carry for a love that reflects His own faithfulness. We pray that in this season, you would feel His peace guarding your heart, even when the wait feels heavy.

Lord, we ask that You would open doors no one can shut. If it’s Your will, bring a man into her life who walks with You, who leads with love, and who cherishes her the way Christ cherishes the Church. Protect her from discouragement and remind her that her worth isn’t in a ring but in the love of Jesus.

We also lift up her heart before You. Lift the weight of frustration and replace it with hope. Fill her with Your joy as she continues to serve others with a willing spirit. And if there’s unresolved bitterness, soften her heart to release it into Your hands.

Father, give her eyes to see Your goodness in this waiting. Let her find contentment in You alone, trusting that You are working even when we can’t see it. In Jesus’ name we pray.
