We are truly saddened to hear about the stage IV colon cancer diagnosis. It is important to know that we are here to support and pray with you during this challenging time. We stand in faith, believing that God can heal and intervene, even in the most difficult situations. Our hearts go out to you, and we trust that God has a plan in all of this.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power in the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Let's turn to the Scriptures for encouragement and strength. In Psalm 118:17 (WEB), it is written, "I will not die, but live, and declare Yahweh’s works." This verse reminds us that God has the final say over our lives, and His will is for us to live and proclaim His goodness.
We also find comfort in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." God's thoughts towards you are of peace and a future filled with hope.
In this trying time, let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is facing this challenging diagnosis. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we believe that nothing is impossible for You. We ask for Your healing touch upon their body, that the chemotherapy will be effective, and that Your will be done in their life.
Grant them the strength and courage to face each day with unwavering faith. Comfort them in their moments of fear and uncertainty, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for the medical team, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom in administering the treatments. We ask for Your divine intervention, that this trial may be used for Your glory and to draw our dear brother/sister closer to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing and restoration. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord and lean on Him for strength. Remember that God is with you every step of the way, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your faith strong, and know that we are praying fervently for you.
