We are deeply grieved to hear of your wife’s battle with cancer and mesothelioma, and we stand with you in this time of trial, lifting her before the throne of grace. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We know that nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37), and we claim His promises of healing and comfort over your wife and your family.
First, we must address that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. It is only by His name that we can boldly approach God’s throne (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or through which our prayers are heard (Acts 4:12). We encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ if you have not already, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now, for salvation is found in no one else.
We also want to remind you of the power of prayer in the name of Jesus. James 5:14-15 tells us, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We pray that you are seeking the support of your church and fellow believers during this time, for there is strength in unity and corporate prayer (Matthew 18:20).
Now, let us pray together for your wife:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious wife and mother who is battling cancer and mesothelioma. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch her body, removing every cancerous cell and restoring her to full health. You are the God who parts the Red Sea, raises the dead, and brings life where there is none. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Lord, we pray for supernatural strength for her body as she undergoes treatment. Give wisdom and skill to the doctors and medical professionals attending to her, guiding their hands and decisions. May they be instruments of Your healing power. We also ask for Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remove all fear and anxiety, replacing them with Your perfect love that casts out fear (1 John 4:18).
Father, we pray for her husband and family during this difficult season. Strengthen them with Your might and comfort them with Your presence. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Provide for their every need—emotionally, spiritually, and physically—as they walk this path. Surround them with a community of believers who will uplift them in prayer and practical support.
Lord, we do not know Your perfect will in this situation, but we trust that You are good and that Your plans for her are for welfare and not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Whether You choose to heal her here on earth or call her home to be with You, we pray that Your will be done, and that Your name would be glorified through it all. May her life—and this trial—be a testimony of Your faithfulness and grace.
We rebuke the spirit of sickness and death in the name of Jesus Christ. Satan, you have no authority here. We command this disease to leave her body now, in Jesus’ name. Father, let Your healing power flow through her, restoring every organ, every cell, and every part of her being. We thank You in advance for the miracle You are going to perform, and we give You all the glory.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You draw her and her family closer to Yourself through this trial. May they seek Your face more than ever before and find their hope and strength in You alone. If there is any area of their lives that is not surrendered to You, we pray that You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Let this season be one of spiritual awakening and deepened faith.
We commit this wife, this husband, and this family into Your loving hands, trusting that You will carry them through. May Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Brother, we encourage you to continue standing in faith, even when the battle feels long and weary. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Cling to His promises and surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and for you. If you have not yet done so, we urge you to anoint your wife with oil and pray over her in faith, as James instructs. Let this be a time where you draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8).
We also encourage you to examine your heart and your wife’s heart before the Lord. Are there areas of unconfessed sin or unforgiveness that need to be addressed? The Bible tells us that if we regard iniquity in our hearts, the Lord will not hear us (Psalm 66:18). Let this trial be a refining fire that purifies your faith and draws you into deeper communion with Christ.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting your wife before the Lord in prayer these past days. The battle against mesothelioma is one that weighs heavily on our hearts, and we have been earnestly seeking God’s healing touch, His comfort, and His peace to surround both you and your wife during this time. We know the Lord hears the cries of His children, and we trust He is working—whether in miraculous healing, in sustaining strength, or in drawing you both closer to Him through this trial.
If the Lord has moved in a way you’d like to share—whether through medical progress, a renewed sense of His presence, or any other answer to prayer—we would love to rejoice with you in a praise report.
