Please pray that God would providentially cancel something that has been orchestrated against me this weekend by people who are targeting me under the influence of demons that have been targeting me since I left the new age. They targeted me for years because I was living in disobedience to Christ and now still won't leave me alone. Thank you.

We hear your cry and we stand with you in this spiritual battle, and we thank God that you have left the darkness of the new age and have turned to obedience to Christ. Leaving that deception was the right and necessary step, for those practices open doors to demonic influence, but now you are in Christ and you belong to Him. We understand the weight of feeling targeted by people under demonic influence and we do not take this lightly, for we know our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12.

We want to encourage you that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17, and when we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us James 4:7. The Lord has given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt us Luke 10:19, and we rest in the promise that He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1.

We also rejoice that you acknowledge your past disobedience and your need for Christ, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved and have authority over the enemy. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Remaining in obedience, abiding in His Word, in prayer, in fellowship with a faithful Bible believing church, and putting on the whole armor of God daily Ephesians 6:11 is how we stand firm after leaving that old life behind.

We join together now and pray for you.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You for drawing our dear one out of the new age and into the light of Your Son. We ask for Your mercy and Your providential hand over this weekend. Lord, You see what has been orchestrated against Your child, and we ask that You would cancel every plan of the enemy, frustrate every scheme of those who are being influenced by demonic spirits, and render their efforts powerless and of no effect. We rebuke every demonic assignment and influence targeting Your child in the name of Jesus Christ, and we command it to leave and to go where You send it, for we submit to You and resist the devil together. Cover this one with Your protection, surround them with Your angels, and let them dwell securely under Your wings. Fill their home and their mind with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let no fear take hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Strengthen them to walk in obedience, to stay rooted in Your Word, to pray without ceasing, and to seek the support of godly believers and elders to pray in person and to stand with them. We also pray for those who are targeting them, that You would convict them, open their eyes, and bring them to repentance and salvation in Jesus. We trust Your sovereign will, that You will work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28, and we declare that nothing can separate us from Your love in Christ Romans 8:38-39. Let Your will be done this weekend, let Your name be glorified, and let our sibling feel Your nearness and deliverance. In the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm, to fast and pray as the Lord leads, to worship and speak Scripture aloud over your situation, and to not return to any new age practices or contacts for guidance, but to seek counsel from a trusted pastor. Keep your eyes on Jesus, for He is faithful to guard you, and He will bring you through this weekend and beyond.

We hear how heavy this weekend feels for you, and how long this battle has felt. Leaving the new age and wanting to walk obediently with Christ is a real turning point, and it makes sense that you would feel targeted and on edge as you do.

We are praying with you for God's protection and peace over these next few days. Whatever others may intend, you are not left alone or unseen, and your safety in Christ is not fragile. When fear rises, it can help to not carry it by yourself.

If you can, we encourage you to let one or two trusted, steady believers know what you are facing this weekend so you are not isolated. Ask a pastor or a mature friend to pray with you in person, stay connected through the weekend, and keep to simple, grounding rhythms of rest, prayer, and time with your church family. If you ever feel unsafe, please reach out right away to someone nearby you trust.

Father, in Jesus' name we bring our brother before You. We ask for Your covering and calm over him this weekend, for wisdom for every step, and for freedom from fear. Lead him close to You, surround him with supportive community, and let him know Your nearness and care. Let Your will be done and keep him in Your peace. In Jesus' name, amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Your request has been brought before the Lord with sincere prayer, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His gracious interposition this weekend.

There is great comfort in knowing that the believer's experience is indeed very variable, much tried and bowed, and yet the saint at last gets the victory and the clouds are removed and the heart rejoices in the sunlight of Divine Love. You have been delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of God's dear Son, and that deliverance is by Divine Power alone. It was wrought when the Lamb was slain, and it is made effectual by Him who still brings forth His people with a mighty hand. What was orchestrated against you in the years when you walked in disobedience, and what now assails you since the Lord in mercy drew you from the new age unto Himself, is not beyond the fence of Omnipotent overruling. All your ills lie within the sacred zone of Providential government, and nothing can touch you apart from Divine permission.

We pray that the Lord in His sovereign providence would frustrate every plan formed against you and graciously cancel that which has been orchestrated for your harm. May He set His divine buckler about you, for He has never forsaken them that fear Him and He never will do so. May He ward off the blows of the enemy, for knowledge of God is a divine armor to His people, and may He grant you to sit upon the Rock of Ages above the waves that surge around you. We ask that He would rebuke the powers of darkness that have long targeted you, and make you to know more deeply that you are His, and He is yours, and that no present things nor things to come shall quench the spark divine which His grace has kindled.

Take heart and keep close to Christ. Let the Word be your daily bread, let prayer be your continual resort, and let your trust be altogether in your heavenly Father, from whom alone comes both justification and sanctification and every deliverance from the pit. He who chastens also keeps, and He will keep your faith alive.

We pray that you shall not be overcome, but shall live and declare the works of the Lord, and sing with Deborah and Barak of a greater salvation, that having been delivered from worse enemies by a greater Deliverer, your gratitude may be deeper and your song more jubilant. May the Lord grant you peace within your borders this weekend, and bring you forth into a place of safety, to the praise of His grace.

Your request has been heard and we join you in prayer before our Lord Jesus Christ with thanksgiving that He has brought you out of the darkness of the new age and into His light. To leave that way of disobedience and to turn to Christ in repentance and faith is the right path, and it is understandable that the struggle feels intense in this season, especially as you sense opposition gathering against you this weekend.

Scripture teaches that our struggle is not only against people but against spiritual forces, and that God in His providence orders all events. He sometimes permits trials and persecutions to arise, not because He has abandoned His people, but to set them above fear, to fix in their minds the hope of immortality, and to teach them to despise even death itself because of the better resurrection He has promised. At other times He graciously hinders the plans of the adversary and grants deliverance. In either case, nothing touches His children without passing through His sovereign hand, and He uses all things for their good and for the strengthening of their faith. We are also reminded that persecution today often comes like wild beasts through passions and temptations, and that we must arm ourselves beforehand through prayer, the Word, and a watchful life, so that whether God removes the danger or gives us strength to stand through it, we remain steadfast.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, who alone is our salvation and our deliverer, we come before You on behalf of Your servant. You see what has been orchestrated against them and You know those who are targeting them. We ask that in Your providence You would frustrate and cancel every evil plan intended for this weekend, and that You would forbid any work of demons to have effect. Place Your protection around Your child, guard their body and soul, their home and their going out and coming in. Deliver them from every devilish sin and from every snare of the adversary, as You have taught us to pray.

If it is Your will to permit a trial, grant them grace not merely to be delivered from it, but to be set above it, to stand firm without fear, trusting in the immortality of the soul and the life to come. Fill them with Your peace, with courage, and with a clear mind to walk in obedience to Christ, to renounce all remaining ties to the old way, and to put on the full armor of God. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let all that the enemy intends for harm be turned to display Your power and Your mercy.

Strengthen them to remain in Your Word daily, in prayer, and in fellowship with faithful believers who can help bear this burden. Keep them from returning to disobedience and lead them deeper into holiness, humility, and love for You. We ask that You would rebuke the evil one and command every unclean spirit to depart from them, for Christ has triumphed over all powers of darkness at the cross.

We entrust this weekend and all that concerns them into Your hands, asking not only for cancellation of evil, but for Your perfect will to be done and for Christ to be glorified in their life. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Continue to walk closely with the Lord. Stay rooted in Scripture, pray without ceasing, confess Christ openly, and seek the support of a local church where you can be shepherded and protected. If there are any objects, practices, or contacts from your former life in the new age that remain, renounce them fully and remove them, and replace them with what builds faith. God is faithful, and He who has begun a good work in you will complete it.

Thank you for sharing this so honestly and for asking for prayer. Leaving the counterfeit spirituality that calls itself the new age and turning to follow Jesus Christ is the right decision, and it is understandable that you are feeling targeted since that step.

Scripture is clear that Satan offers a counterfeit for much of what God promises. There is a true new age coming, the kingdom where Jesus reigns and righteousness dwells, and where God will at last make all things new and create new heavens and a new earth. What you left behind was not that true hope but a false and satanic imitation. When a person comes out of that and becomes a new creation in Christ, opposition is not surprising. The enemy does not give up easily.

The Bible also teaches that demonic powers are real. They are intelligent spirit beings with power to afflict and harass, and they work through people who are under their influence. At the same time they are not free to do whatever they want. God restrains them, some are already held in confinement, and all remain under His authority and will face His final judgment. You cannot hide from spirit beings by physical means, by isolating yourself or trying to escape on your own, but in Christ you are given a different protection. Those who belong to Jesus are sealed by God and set apart. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

Persecution and being targeted for your faith is something the earliest Christians also knew. When they suffered for the cause of Christ, they were reminded that God sees every affliction, that He will in righteousness repay those who trouble His people, and that He will give rest and relief to those who are His. Seasons of pressure often also cause faith to grow and love to deepen as believers cling more closely to Christ and to one another.

Your past disobedience before you came to Christ is not held against you now. If you are in Christ, you are forgiven and made new. The guilt of the former life does not give the enemy a rightful claim over you. You can resist him by submitting to God, standing firm in faith, and walking in obedience to Jesus.

I am praying for you this weekend, that God in His providence and sovereignty would restrain, hinder and cancel any evil that has been planned against you, whether by people or by the spiritual powers influencing them. I am asking that the Lord would make their schemes fail, that He would surround you with His protection, give you clear discernment and peace, and make His presence very real to you.

Continue to stay close to Jesus in these days. Put on the whole armor of God, stay in the Word, pray in the name of Jesus, renounce any remaining ties to your former practices, and stay in fellowship with other believers who can pray with you and for you. If you sense specific oppression, bring it directly to the Lord, confess Christ as your Lord and Savior, and ask Him to fill you with His Holy Spirit and to guard your mind and heart.

God has promised a future where the former things will not even be remembered, where you will dwell with Him forever in that new creation. Until then He is your refuge and your deliverer in every present trouble. May He grant you protection, courage, and quiet confidence that you are held securely in His hand, and may any plan formed against you be brought to nothing according to His perfect will.
