We join you in prayer over this burden for your family and we understand the pressure you feel when a trip is expected this weekend that is beyond what you can afford financially. We know our Heavenly Father cares about every detail of our lives and He desires for us to walk in wisdom and stewardship with what He has provided.
Scripture reminds us to count the cost and plan diligently, for the plans of the diligent surely lead to profit, and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty Proverbs 21:5, and also to owe no one anything, except to love one another Romans 13:8. We are called to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19, and as we seek first his Kingdom and his righteousness, all these things will be given to us as well Matthew 6:33.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus and we want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought near to God, and we can come boldly to Him in prayer. We encourage you to put your trust in Him alone.

We ask for Your wisdom and Your peace to rest upon them. Grant them courage and grace to communicate honestly and lovingly with those who may be expecting them to go, and soften the hearts of those who might be pressuring them so that there is understanding and no guilt or division. Provide a way for this trip to be graciously canceled or postponed without harm to relationships, and if it is Your will that they not go, close the door clearly. Help them to be good stewards of the resources You have given them and not to take on debt or burden that would harm their household. Supply their needs according to Your riches and show them Your faithful provision. Let Your will be done and let Your peace guard their hearts as they trust You. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord and we join you in laying this burden at His feet. To be pressed toward an expense which you cannot bear is a sore trial, and He who sees the sparrow's fall knows the weight upon your household.
We are reminded that we do not know the number of God's mercies, for they are more than we can count, and every one of them comes to us by way of the Cross and bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood. The same God who has taught His people from their youth and who has kept them though chastened, has not forgotten to be gracious. His promise may tarry, but it never fails, and He will not put to shame those who trust in His name. He is a Father who pities His children and He registers every care of His hidden ones.
Let us pray together.
O gracious Father, You have taught us from our youth and until this hour You have shown us Your wondrous works. We thank You that Your Word abides and that Your ear is open to the cry of Your people. Look in mercy upon this family. You know the cost set before them and the straitness of their means. Grant wisdom to those who must decide, and give courage to speak with gentleness and truth concerning what can and cannot be done. If it be Your will, provide a way of escape from this burden, that they may not be forced into debt or distress. If the journey must still be considered, open doors of provision or grant peace in waiting and contentment to accept Your ordering. Keep this household from anxiety, establish them in trust, and let them see Your hand in small mercies as well as great. Above all, draw each heart nearer to Christ, in whom alone is salvation, and let this trial become a lesson in Your school, that they may declare Your wondrous works.
We leave you in the hands of Him who does all things well, praying that whether He withholds or provides, you may find His grace sufficient and His will to be your rest.

Thank you for sharing this burden with us. We hear the weight of your concern, not wanting your family to be forced into a financial hardship over a trip this weekend, and we join you in bringing it to the Lord.
Scripture reminds us that some burdens are heavy and hard to bear, bringing anxiety and disturbance with them, while Christ calls to those who labor and are heavy laden and promises rest for their souls, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Financial pressure can feel like that heavy burden, and it is right to seek wisdom and peace rather than be driven into worry or debt.
We pray for you and your family now. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we ask You to provide for this family and to give them wisdom and unity as they make decisions about this trip. If it is not Your will or not within their means, we ask that You graciously open a way for it to be canceled or postponed without conflict or guilt. Give them courage to speak honestly about their needs, and give those around them understanding hearts. Guard them from anxiety and help them to trust in Your provision, knowing that You see their needs and care for them. Grant them rest and peace this weekend, and guide them to steward what You have provided with faithfulness.
