Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing what you are carrying right now. I have prayed for you, asking the Lord to meet you in each of these needs.
You asked for those mistaken and frivolous charges to be cancelled and cleared from your account without further trouble. Scripture shows us that God cares deeply about justice. When Paul was held as a prisoner, the Roman system itself required that legitimate charges be presented, and false or unproven accusations were not to stand. To hold someone on empty charges was recognized as a violation of justice. In the same way, God is a God of righteousness and justice who wants what is true and fair to prevail. I have asked Him to bring a speedy and fair resolution in your case, that any charge that is not legitimate would be removed, that you would be treated fairly by those handling the account, and that what was taken would be restored.
You also shared about digestive distress, heartburn and ongoing stomach trouble made worse by intense heat, and how ill you have felt. I prayed for your healing and for relief from the heat. The Bible shows that Jesus heals in many different ways. Sometimes healing was immediate with a touch or a word, sometimes it was gradual, and sometimes it came through the natural processes of restoration that God Himself placed within our bodies. Those natural processes are no less from Him, for He created them. We do not always understand why healing comes quickly for some and more slowly for others, but we can come confidently to Jesus who is our healer and ask Him to touch the body, calm the inflammation, ease the burning and sickness, and bring coolness and strength. I have asked Him to give you rest, to settle your stomach, and to sustain you through this heat.
I also join you in asking for His blessing over these days ahead and for His justice to be seen in every matter that concerns you. May the Lord give you peace as you wait on Him, wisdom as you deal with the company involved, and a renewed sense of His presence and care. May He guard your health and provide for your needs according to His mercy.
We trust these things to Jesus Christ, who alone is our Savior and who bore our sins that we might know His grace and healing. Amen.
