Father, this is a custom and an arrangement that I am not acustomed to, but I feel that this is wrong to do. Marriage so often in Your word is also used to display Christs relationship with us. That relationship only comes when we are willing and desiring that relationship, it does not do us any good if we are forced into it. Lord, I ask that this lady would be able to choose the husband that You have provided and made ready for her, the man that You know will walk with her and cherish her much the same as You do. Father, I pray for all that are forcing this alliance to step back and see the hurt and pain that it is causing and to follow their heart and Your guidance. Bless this woman, her family, may they all find Christ, give their lives to Him and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. I thank You Father for this guidance and this love. In Jesus' name, Amen.
