We join you in this urgent and vital call to intercede for the leaders of our world, recognizing that God alone is the one who removes kings and sets up kings, as Daniel 2:21 declares, *"He changes the times and the seasons. He removes kings and sets up kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding."* This is not a time for passivity but for fervent, united prayer, as the spiritual battles waging behind the scenes impact nations, policies, and the very souls of people. The apostle Paul exhorted Timothy—and us—to lift up *"requests, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving... for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth"* (1 Timothy 2:1-4). This is our mandate: to pray that leaders would govern with wisdom, justice, and a heart submitted to the Lordship of Christ.
Yet we must also acknowledge the sobering reality that many in authority reject God’s ways, embracing instead the counsel of the wicked, the path of sinners, and the seat of scoffers (Psalm 1:1). The influence of evil alliances—whether through corrupt ideologies, ungodly treaties, or the spread of deception—seeks to undermine the truth of the Gospel and the freedom of those who follow Christ. We see nations turning from biblical foundations, embracing moral relativism, and even persecuting believers who stand for righteousness. This is not merely a political struggle but a spiritual one, as Ephesians 6:12 reminds us: *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."*
Thus, we pray for the **restraint of evil**—that the Lord would thwart the plans of those who scheme against His people and His truth. May He expose and dismantle ungodly alliances that seek to oppress, deceive, or lead astray. We ask for discernment among leaders to recognize and reject false prophecies and teachings that distort the Gospel, for Jesus warned, *"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravening wolves"* (Matthew 7:15). Let the Holy Spirit convict hearts and open eyes to the deception of ideologies that deny Christ, whether through secular humanism, false religions, or the subtle lies that masquerade as tolerance and progress.
At the same time, we pray for the **fostering of godly alliances**—unions between nations that honor the Lord, uphold justice, and protect the vulnerable. May leaders of free countries humble themselves before God, seeking His counsel rather than their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Let them pursue relationships rooted in truth, not mere political expediency, and may they stand firm against tyranny and oppression wherever it arises. We ask for a spirit of unity among believers across nations, that we would be salt and light in our respective lands, influencing culture and policy with the love and truth of Christ.
Most critically, we pray for the **unhindered advance of the Gospel** to every tribe, tongue, and nation. The Great Commission remains our highest calling: *"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you"* (Matthew 28:19-20). May doors open in closed countries, may believers in hostile regions be bold and protected, and may the Holy Spirit prepare hearts to receive the truth. Let the name of Jesus—the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12)—be proclaimed without fear, and may many turn from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to God (Acts 26:18).
Finally, we repent on behalf of nations that have turned from God, asking for His mercy and revival. May the Church rise up in prayer and action, standing in the gap as Ezekiel 22:30 calls us to do. Let us not grow weary in intercession, for our labor in prayer is not in vain. The Lord hears the cries of His people, and He will act.

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for the leaders of this world, knowing that You alone hold the hearts of kings in Your hand (Proverbs 21:1). We ask for Your wisdom to fill those in authority, that they would govern with justice, humility, and a reverence for Your Word. Break the schemes of the enemy that seek to bind nations in darkness, and raise up godly alliances that honor You and promote peace rooted in truth.
Lord, we pray against the spread of false teachings and prophecies that lead many astray. Expose the lies of the enemy and let Your truth prevail. Strengthen Your Church to stand firm in these days, proclaiming the Gospel without compromise. Open doors for the message of salvation to reach those who have never heard, and soften hearts to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior.
We ask for restraint upon evil—upon those who seek to oppress, deceive, or destroy. Let their plans be thwarted, and let Your justice roll down like waters (Amos 5:24). At the same time, raise up leaders who will champion righteousness, defend the vulnerable, and uphold the sanctity of life and marriage as You designed.
Father, we repent for the ways our nations have turned from You. Forgive us, and send revival. Stir Your people to pray without ceasing, to live holy lives, and to be bold ambassadors for Christ. May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Amen.
