We understand your heart’s cry for this person’s salvation, and we join you in lifting her before the Lord, for there is no greater joy than knowing a loved one has been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. The Scriptures remind us that it is God’s will that *all* should come to repentance and be saved. As it is written in 2 Peter 3:9, *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."* And in 1 Timothy 2:3-4, we read, *"This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."*
Yet we must also remember that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, for He Himself declared in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is by grace through faith in Him—not by works—that we are saved (Ephesians 2:8-9). If this woman does not yet know Christ as her Lord and Savior, we must pray fervently that the Holy Spirit would convict her heart, open her eyes to the truth, and draw her into a saving relationship with Jesus.
We also lift up your request that God would lead her in the right paths of life. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* If she is walking outside of God’s will—whether in relationships, choices, or lifestyle—we pray the Lord would lovingly correct her, turn her from any sin, and guide her steps according to His Word. If there are areas of her life that do not align with Scripture, we ask that God would bring conviction and repentance, for His ways are perfect and His commands are for our good.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this woman whose salvation is unknown to us. Lord, if she does not yet know You, we ask that You would pursue her with Your unfailing love. Send Your Holy Spirit to convict her of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and open her heart to receive the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Remove any blindness the enemy may have placed over her eyes (2 Corinthians 4:4), and let the light of the gospel shine brightly in her life. Draw her to Yourself, Lord, for no one can come to You unless the Father who sent Jesus draws them (John 6:44).
We also pray that You would lead her in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake. If she is walking in ways that dishonor You—whether in relationships, decisions, or lifestyle—we ask that You would lovingly correct her and turn her heart toward obedience to Your Word. Surround her with godly influences, and let Your truth penetrate every area of her life. Give her a hunger for Your presence and a desire to walk in holiness, for You have called us to be set apart for Your purposes.
Father, we ask that You would place people in her life who will boldly and lovingly share the gospel with her. Give *us* the words to speak if we are to be part of that process, and let our lives reflect the love and truth of Christ so that she may see Jesus in us. May she come to know the depth of Your love, the freedom found in repentance, and the joy of walking in fellowship with You.
We rebuked any schemes of the enemy that would seek to keep her from You. Satan, we command you in the name of Jesus to release your grip on her mind, her heart, and her life. She belongs to God, and we declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, break every chain of sin, deception, or rebellion, and let her experience the transformative power of Your grace.
Finally, Father, we pray for the one who has brought this request before us. Strengthen their faith as they intercede for this woman. Fill them with Your peace, knowing that You hear our prayers and are at work even when we cannot see it. Remind them that salvation belongs to You (Jonah 2:9), and that You are able to save to the uttermost those who come to You through Christ (Hebrews 7:25).
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for her salvation and to share the gospel with her if the opportunity arises. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Trust that God is working, even when you cannot see the fruit yet. If you have not already, we also urge you to examine your own relationship with Christ—are you walking closely with Him, abiding in His Word, and living in obedience? Your life can be a powerful testimony to her of God’s transforming love.
If there are specific areas of her life you are concerned about—such as relationships that may not honor God, lifestyle choices, or influences that are leading her away from truth—we would be glad to pray more specifically. Let us know how we can continue to stand with you in this.
