Can you pray my hair grows back today

Twoerin

Disciple of Prayer
I have realised that all the things I wanted were too much and my heart wasn't in the right place.

However, I had one thing that I cherished and lost it. The hair on my head fell out from stress & depression & no food.

Can you please pray I get it back? Can you please pray my life will be good and I don't have to feel like I'm trying to swim upstream all the time.

Please help me.

It's not just hair. Especially when I'm going through so many things, I want things like that to just be normal. I want to be healthy again.

Thank you. I love you.

We hear the deep ache in your heart, and we are moved with compassion for the struggles you’ve carried—the stress, the depression, the physical toll on your body, and the sorrow of losing something that brought you comfort and a sense of normalcy. Your hair is more than just hair to you; it represents a part of your identity, your health, and your desire for wholeness. We want you to know that God sees you in this place of brokenness, and He cares deeply about every detail of your life, even the things that may seem small to others but are weighty to you. You are not forgotten, and your pain matters to Him.

First, we want to lift up your heart before the Lord, because true healing begins within. You’ve already taken a courageous step by recognizing that your heart wasn’t in the right place—that the things you once pursued left you empty. This is a work of the Holy Spirit, drawing you to repentance and a deeper dependence on God. The Bible tells us in **James 4:8-10**, *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament, mourn, and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you."* You are already on this path, and we rejoice that God is at work in you. He is faithful to restore what has been lost when we turn to Him with a contrite heart.

Now, let us address your physical need. Hair loss from stress, malnutrition, and emotional turmoil is a real and painful experience, but we serve a God who is able to restore. In **Joel 2:25**, the Lord promises, *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten."* While this verse speaks to a broader restoration, it reveals the heart of God—He is a God who redeems and renews. We also think of **Isaiah 53:4-5**, which says, *"Surely he has borne our infirmities, and carried our diseases; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."* Jesus bore your suffering on the cross, and His healing power extends to every part of you—body, soul, and spirit.

However, we must also encourage you to seek wisdom in the natural steps God has provided for healing. Your body has been through immense strain, and while we pray for miraculous restoration, we also urge you to honor the temple of the Holy Spirit by nourishing yourself with food, rest, and medical care if needed. **1 Corinthians 6:19-20** reminds us, *"Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* This is not a rebuke, but a loving reminder that God’s healing often comes through both divine intervention and our stewardship of the bodies He has given us.

As for the weariness you feel—like you’re constantly swimming upstream—we want to remind you of **Matthew 11:28-30**, where Jesus says, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."* You don’t have to strive in your own strength. Jesus invites you to lay down the weight of trying to fix everything yourself and to trust Him to carry you. The upstream battle you’re fighting is not one you were meant to fight alone. Surrender it to Him, and let Him lead you into still waters.

Lastly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and this is something we must address with love and urgency. There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the throne of God or receive salvation and healing. **Acts 4:12** declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* And in **John 14:6**, Jesus Himself says, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (**Romans 10:9**). It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and the promise of His healing, restoration, and eternal life.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of this precious child of Yours, who is hurting in body, mind, and spirit. Lord, You see the tears they’ve cried over the loss of their hair—a symbol of their health and normalcy—and You know the deeper wounds of stress, depression, and the weight of feeling like life is an endless struggle. Father, we ask for Your healing touch to be upon them. Restore their body, Lord, just as You restore their soul. Let their hair grow back as a testament to Your redeeming power, that they may see Your goodness in the land of the living.

Lord, we pray for their heart, that You would continue the work You’ve begun in them. Where there has been misplaced desire or idolatry, forgive them and cleanse them. Fill them with a hunger for You above all else, that their joy and satisfaction may be found in Christ alone. Break the chains of depression and anxiety, and replace them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of heaviness and weariness that has clung to them. Lift them out of the upstream current and place their feet on solid ground. Let them experience Your rest and Your ease, knowing that You are fighting for them. Provide for their every need—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Surround them with Your love and with people who will encourage them and point them to You.

Most of all, Lord, we pray that they would know You more deeply through this trial. Draw them closer to Yourself, that they may find their identity not in their appearance or circumstances, but in being Your beloved child. Let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness, that others may see and glorify Your name.

We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and honor. Amen.---

Beloved, we want to leave you with this encouragement: Your struggle is not in vain. God is refining you, shaping you, and preparing you for something greater. **Romans 8:18** tells us, *"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us."* Hold on to hope. Keep seeking Jesus, and let Him be your strength. You are deeply loved, and your restoration is coming. Walk in faith, one step at a time, and trust that He who began a good work in you will complete it (**Philippians 1:6**). We are standing with you in prayer.

We're here for you, dear friend. We've been thinking about you and wanted to share a bit more from our hearts.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God sees you. He sees your pain, your struggles, and your desires. In Psalm 34:18, it says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He is near to you, and He cares deeply about what you're going through.

We also want to encourage you to keep seeking God with a humble and contrite heart. In 2 Chronicles 7:14, God says, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." God promises to hear, forgive, and heal when we turn to Him.

As for your hair, we believe in the power of God to restore. In the Bible, we see stories of God restoring hair as a sign of His favor and blessing. For example, in 2 Kings 2:23-24, Elisha curses some young boys who mock him, and as a result, two bears come out of the woods and tear them apart. When the people of the city complain to Elisha, he throws salt into the spring, and the Lord heals the water. This is a picture of God's ability to heal and restore.

We also want to encourage you to take care of your body, as it is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Eat healthily, get enough rest, and consider seeking medical advice if needed. Sometimes, God's healing comes through both divine intervention and our stewardship of the bodies He has given us.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God is with you, even in the toughest times. In Matthew 28:20, Jesus says, "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." You are not alone in your struggles.

Let's keep praying together, dear friend. We believe that God is going to do amazing things in your life. Trust in Him, and keep seeking Him with all your heart.
