We hear the deep sadness and weariness in your cry and we join with you together before the Lord in Jesus name bringing your dehydration, your teeth issues, your mother's teeth and her long unhappiness, and the depression that has weighed on your whole family for so long.

We pray for your physical body and this dehydration that keeps returning. We ask the Lord to touch your body and bring healing and strength, and we also encourage you to seek medical care and to keep drinking water faithfully as God has made our bodies to need water. Jesus said in John 7:37, If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. He is our living water for our souls, and He also cares for our bodies. We pray as it says in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Lord, show the doctors and dentists what is causing this and give wisdom for lasting help.

We lift up your teeth and your mother's teeth to the Great Physician. We know how painful and discouraging ongoing dental problems can be. We pray for healing, for relief from pain, for provision for the care you need, and for restoration. We also lift up the depression and the broken sad lives you described, the darkness that feels so heavy and the feeling that you have never seen your mother happy. The Lord sees every tear. Psalm 34:18 tells us Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We ask Him to bind up your wounds and your mother's wounds and to lift this heavy cloud of depression from your family.

You asked how much cleaning is required and how much obedience is needed to be happy and to be clean all the time. We want to gently share the truth that we are not made clean before God by how perfectly we clean our house or by trying harder to be obedient enough to earn His love. We are made clean by the blood of Jesus alone. 1 John 1:7 says but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. And Ephesians 2:8-9 says for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. Obedience is our loving response to Him because He first loved us, not a payment to make Him show up. He shows up even when our house is not perfect, even when we feel broken and imperfect, because of His mercy. You do not need to be perfect for Him to come. He already came.

You asked for a permanent miracle and to be taken out of darkness. We pray for that miracle according to His will, and we trust that His will is good even when healing comes step by step. John 8:12 reminds us Jesus said I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life. We pray that light would fill your home today, even as it is. We also pray for true joy, which is deeper than fleeting happiness. Jesus invites you in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. And Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come to You for this dear one and for their mother and family. Lord, You know the dehydration and why it returns, You know the teeth pain, You know the years of sadness and depression. We ask You to heal bodies, to heal teeth, to heal hearts. Lord, pour out Your living water on thirsty souls and bodies. Lift the darkness and let Your light shine in this home today, not because the home is perfect but because You are gracious. Cleanse us from all sin by the blood of Jesus and help us to walk in Your light with peace. Give this family joy, not just for a moment but the lasting joy that comes from knowing You are near and that You will never leave us. Give them hope, help them to see Your goodness, and provide for every medical and dental need. We cast all our anxiety on You because You care for us as 1 Peter 5:7 says. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name, for there is no other name by which we are saved and have access to You. Let Your will be done and let Your presence be felt today. Amen.

We are really grateful you wrote to us so openly, even when the words were hard to get out. We hear how tired you are of the dehydration coming back, the pain with your teeth, and the deep sadness that has settled over you and your family. Wanting your mother to know happiness and wanting all of you to be free from this darkness is such a tender and loving desire, and we hear how much you long for God to show up in a lasting way.

You asked how much cleaning and obedience is required. We want to gently say you do not have to earn His nearness by keeping everything perfect. He is not waiting for a spotless house or a flawless life before He will come close. He sees you right now in the broken and sad places and cares about you there.

Alongside prayer, we encourage you to let someone help with the physical needs you mentioned. For the dehydration and teeth pain it would be good to see a doctor and a dentist, and for the heaviness and depression it can help to talk with your doctor or a trusted pastor or counselor. You do not have to carry this alone.

Father, we bring this family before You in Jesus name. Please draw near and let them know You see them. Bring comfort where there has been so much sadness, and guide them to caring help for their bodies and hearts. Give them moments of peace and hope today, even in an imperfect home. Amen.

Your heavy and brokenhearted prayer has been heard, and we have carried it before the Lord with much tenderness. The sadness you describe, the returning dehydration, the pain in the teeth, the depression that has settled upon your family, and the long grief of never having seen your mother happy, all these lie open before Him who sees and knows.

Know this, that there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. It is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is healing. The power of the Lord is present to heal, not because we have made ourselves worthy, but because Christ Himself bore our sickness and sin. He took the terrible cup and drank it on our account, that healing might flow down to men below. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and He does so in a moment when He speaks the word, Your sins are forgiven you.

You ask how much cleaning is required, how much obedience must be offered before God will help. Hear the gracious answer of the gospel. Cleansing is not first our work for Him, but His work for us. Salvation puts a new sun in our sky and a new joy in our hearts, and it is received by faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ. God grants pardon when men are humbled, and in the dust of self abasement is the place for hope. You need not make yourself perfectly clean to come to Him, for it is He who makes clean. Obedience follows as love follows mercy, not as payment to purchase it. Come as you are, believing that He has power to forgive and to heal, and trust Him to do that good work in you.

Do not think the Lord will only enter a perfect house. True religion displays its greatest marvels around the domestic hearth. Jesus entered the house of Peter when his mother in law lay sick of a fever, a simple family scene, and He took her by the hand and lifted her up. He still draws near to broken and sad homes. He is a home for desolation, light for darkness, joy for despair. Though you walk in darkness, He can give light, and though your family has known long sorrow, He can sustain and in His time give rejoicing in hope. The fruit of the Spirit is joy and peace, and believers are bid to rejoice in the Lord, not because their circumstances are perfect, but because Christ is theirs.

We would encourage you also to care for the body as you seek the Lord. Bodily diseases urge us to seek a physician, and it is right to seek help for the dehydration and for the teeth from those with skill to treat them, while you look above all to the great Physician of soul and body. For the heaviness of spirit that presses upon you and your mother, continue to bring these feverish and weary spirits to the Lord Jesus by prayer and faith, and seek also the help of faithful pastors and, where needed, those who can counsel and care for depression with wisdom.

We now pray for you and your household.

O Lord, show Yourself in this broken and sad life. Look upon this dear one and upon the mother whose happiness has been so long withheld, and lay Your healing hand upon them. Forgive sin for the sake of Jesus Christ alone, cleanse the heart, and lift the darkness. Give relief from this returning dehydration and from the affliction of the teeth, and grant wisdom to those who can give care. Lift the cloud of depression from this family, and turn sorrow into hope. Let not this dear soul think that perfect cleaning or perfect obedience must come first, but reveal that Christ is all, that to believe on Him is to have life and pardon and cleansing. Shine Your light into this home though it be imperfect, and make Your presence known there. Grant a lasting work of grace, a joy that abides because it rests in You, and keep them in Your mercy. We ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, our only hope and healer. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been heard and I have brought it before the Lord with care and compassion. Thank you for pouring out your heart so honestly, even through tears and broken words. God sees the heaviness you carry, the sickness in your body, the pain in your teeth, the dehydration that keeps returning, the depression that weighs on your whole family, and the sadness of never having seen your mother truly happy. He sees the darkness and the brokenness in your home, and He is near to those who are brokenhearted.

I have prayed for you and your mother and your family that the Lord in His mercy would bring healing to your bodies, relief for your teeth and for this dehydration, comfort for your minds and hearts, and light into the darkness you feel. I asked Him to show Himself present to you even now, not because your house is perfect or because you have done enough, but because He is gracious and He loves to draw near to those who call on Him through Jesus Christ.

You asked how much cleaning is required and how much obedience is needed to be happy or to be heard. Please hear this with peace. We are not made clean before God by how much we clean or by perfect obedience. We are made clean by the blood of Jesus Christ alone, who died and rose again so that all who trust in Him are forgiven and made new. Obedience is not a payment we make to earn His help. It is a response of love from a heart that has already received His grace. He does not wait for you to become perfect before He listens. He hears you now, in this imperfect house, in this sad and broken season, because you are calling on the name of Jesus.

True joy and gladness, as Scripture teaches, is not the fleeting happiness of this world. It is a deeper joy that God Himself gives, a joy that can remain even while we still suffer and wait for full healing. That does not mean your suffering is not real or that God does not care about your body and your family’s pain. He does. He cares about every part of you. The Lord Jesus met people in their sickness and sorrow with compassion, and He still does. So we continue to ask Him for healing and for a lasting work of restoration, while also trusting His wisdom when healing comes slowly or in ways we do not expect.

I prayed that the Lord would give you a permanent hope and a steady comfort, that He would lift the depression in your family, bring peace to your mother, and give you both relief and strength day by day. I also encourage you, as you are able, to seek help for these physical needs with a doctor for the dehydration and a dentist for the teeth, and to reach out to a trusted pastor or counselor and a medical professional for the depression. God often brings His help through these means as well, and you do not have to carry this alone.

You asked the Lord to show up today even if the house is not perfect. He is not kept out by an imperfect house. He came to dwell with sinners and sufferers, to bring honor and hope where there was shame and sorrow, and to heal what is diseased. Keep calling on Him. Keep bringing Him these same requests. Even when answers seem delayed, every prayer is heard, and God is working even when we cannot yet see the fruit.

Let me pray for you now:

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on this dear one and on this family. You see their dehydration and sickness, their teeth pain, their depression and sadness, and their longing to be happy and clean before You. Forgive their sins and cleanse them by Your cross. Heal what You in Your wisdom will heal, strengthen their bodies, comfort their hearts, and bring Your light into their darkness. Show Yourself present in their home today, though it is broken and imperfect. Give the mother joy and health, give this child peace, and give them both a lasting hope in You. Help them to trust not in their own cleaning or obedience, but in Your finished work, and teach them to walk with You in love day by day. In Your holy name we ask, Amen.

Please keep sharing your burdens with the Lord and with faithful people around you. You are not forgotten. The Lord hears the voice of those who call on Him, and His desire is to give you His own joy and gladness as you continue to seek Him.
