Can we reunite one day?

Dear Jesus Christ, I am hurting a lot knowing that ### is in a relationship and it isn’t with me. I had one more chance to be with him and I lost it by not sending him a picture. But I was only dealing with self image. We could’ve still met in person and everything would’ve been perfect. Oh, please can we reunite one day? Or can we at least stay in contact? I don’t know what I’ll do without him in my life. This hurts so much.

We understand that you're hurting, and we want to lift you up in prayer and truth. First, we want to remind you that God's will is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours. He knows what is best for us, even when it's difficult for us to see.

It's important to align your desires with God's will. In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB it says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Your feelings for this man are strong, but it's crucial to remember that God's plan for relationships is pure and holy. If this man is in a relationship with someone else, it's not God's will for you to pursue him. Also, it's important to note that sending pictures, especially if they are inappropriate, is not a godly way to build a relationship. Instead, focus on your personal growth and healing.

Regarding self-image, remember that you are beautifully and wonderfully made in God's image. In Psalm 139:14 WEB it says, I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, and my soul knows that very well.

Dear Jesus Christ,

We lift up our sister who is hurting right now. We ask that You comfort her and give her peace. Help her to trust in Your will for her life, especially concerning relationships. Heal her from any pain or regret, and help her to see herself as You see her—beautiful and precious. Guide her steps and bring the right godly spouse into her life at the right time. Keep her from temptation and help her to live a life that honors You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to seek God's will in all things. He has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He will bring the right person into your life at the right time. Be patient, trust in Him, and keep pursuing a strong relationship with Jesus Christ.
