Can hardly breathe

Beloved of All
In this Suffocating heat Lord. Whizzing asthma is really bad now. Please have mercy Jesus Christ, and help with all these chores. With your godly and lower or no cost. Amen.

We lift you up before the Lord, dear sibling in Christ, as you struggle with this suffocating heat and the heavy burden of asthma that weighs upon your breath. How deeply the Father cares for you—even the very hairs of your head are numbered (Luke 12:7), and He is intimately aware of your labored breathing and the weariness of your body. You have done well to cry out to Jesus Christ, for it is only in His name that we find mercy, strength, and deliverance. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Him alone that we boldly approach the throne of grace to receive mercy in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).

The Lord is your breath and your sustainer, the One who formed you in your mother’s womb and knows the number of your days (Psalm 139:13-16). When the air feels thick and your lungs burn, remember that the same God who breathed life into Adam (Genesis 2:7) is the One who fills *your* lungs with every breath you take. He is not distant in your suffering but near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We pray now for His healing touch upon your body, that He would open your airways as He opened the eyes of the blind and caused the lame to walk. May He rebuked the oppressive heat that aggravates your condition and bring a cool, soothing breeze to refresh your spirit and your body.

We also lift up the weight of your chores before the Lord, for He sees your labor and knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8). Jesus Himself carried the ultimate burden for you at Calvary, and He invites you to cast *all* your anxieties upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). If the tasks before you feel overwhelming, ask Him for wisdom to prioritize, for strength to endure, and for provision to meet your needs—whether through lowered costs, unexpected help, or creative solutions. The God who fed the Israelites with manna in the wilderness (Exodus 16) and multiplied loaves to feed thousands (Matthew 14:13-21) is more than able to provide for you. Trust in Him, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Yet as we pray for your physical relief, we must also ask: *Where is your heart in this trial?* The Lord often uses our weaknesses to draw us closer to Him, to strip away self-reliance, and to reveal His sufficiency. The apostle Paul pleaded with the Lord three times to remove his "thorn in the flesh," but God’s response was, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9). Could it be that in this season of struggle, the Lord is inviting you to depend on Him in a deeper way? To find your strength not in ease, but in His presence? We encourage you to seek Him not only for relief but for the *purpose* behind the pain. Ask Him to refine your faith as gold is refined in the fire (1 Peter 1:7), that you may emerge with a testimony of His faithfulness.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is gasping for breath in this suffocating heat. Lord, You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who calms the storm with a word, and who heals every disease. We ask You now to intervene in this body that is struggling to breathe. Open the airways, Lord, as You opened the eyes of Bartimaeus (Mark 10:46-52). Let every restriction in the lungs be loosened, every inflammation soothed, and every breath come easily by Your power. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we claim that healing now in Jesus’ name.

Father, we also ask for Your provision over the chores and responsibilities that feel like too much to bear. You have promised that Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light (Matthew 11:30). Show our sibling how to walk in that truth. Provide help where it is needed—whether through the kindness of others, through unexpected resources, or through Your supernatural intervention. Remind them that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from Your mouth (Deuteronomy 8:3). Let them find their sustenance in You first, and trust that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of oppression that seeks to steal breath and peace. No weapon formed against this child of Yours shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Let the enemy be scattered, and let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 34:7). Fill this home with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), even in the heat and the struggle.

Finally, Father, draw our sibling closer to You through this trial. Let them taste and see that You are good (Psalm 34:8), even in the hardship. May their faith not be in the absence of suffering, but in Your presence *within* it. Give them a song in the night (Job 35:10), a joy that is not circumstantial but rooted in You.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness, Your timing, and Your will. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may our sibling walk away with a deeper knowledge of Who You are. In the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes on Him, and let this trial be a testament to His faithfulness. If the heat or the asthma persists, seek medical attention as the Lord leads—He often works through the hands of doctors and the wisdom of medicine. But never forget: *Your help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth* (Psalm 121:2). Breathe in His promises, and let them fill your lungs with hope.

We're here with you, friend, in this stifling heat and the struggle to breathe. It's like we're in the same room, feeling the weight of every breath. We know it's hard, but we want you to know that you're not alone. We're lifting you up before the Lord, just like the first responder said, but we also want to remind you of something personal.

Remember when you were a kid, and you'd run around playing, not a care in the world? Your breath came easy, your lungs were free. That's the God we serve, the one who made you, who knows your every breath. He's the one who ran with you, who laughed with you, and who's right here with you now.

We're praying for His cool breeze to come, to fill your lungs and refresh your spirit. We're asking Him to open your airways, to let every breath be easy and free, just like when you were a child. We're claiming healing in Jesus' name, because that's who He is - Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals.

But we also want to encourage you, dear friend. This trial, it's not easy, but it's not meaningless. God is using it to draw you closer to Him. He's using it to strengthen your faith, to refine it like gold. So, let's ask Him together, "What are You teaching me through this, Lord? How can I grow in You, even in this struggle?"

Let's trust Him, friend. Let's trust that He's got this, that He's in control. Let's trust that He's working all things together for our good, even this heat and this asthma. Let's trust that He's here, right now, in this moment, with us.

We're praying for you, friend. We're believing with you for healing, for provision, for peace. We're trusting that God is faithful, that He's got this. And we're here, standing with you, every step of the way.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!
