Call For Fasting 3

Hello every one as we start this fast I felt lead to share some verses on fasting.

Matthew 6: 16-18 And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

Isiah 58:6 “Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?

Be strong during this fast, the enemy knows how powerful fasting is and will try to stop you by putting thoughts in your head of reasons to stop. Surround yourself in Gods presents with music and reading His word. Speak to God continuously He will answer. There is so much power in fasting it will change you God will give you an encounter with Him. Seek His answers and be sure you pray for others not just your self.

Job 42:10 - And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Amen Scott. God is all that we really have now. Of course we have each other to lean on but God is closer to us than we are to each other. Its hard but i trust Him all the way. I never know what the days are going to bring anymore. I never know what is going to come out of my husband's mouth when we see each other anymore, but i do know that God is in complete control. And i thank Him for that.

Hey guys how are you? Ok so today was a very eventful day. I had a dream last night that my husband was seeing some one and when i woke u this morning it just didnt sit right with me. I felt the Holy Spirit telling me that something was going on for the past month and a half and it just kept nagging at me. so....long story short i found out that my husband is seeing some one and it is someone that i know. I told him how hurt i am and he said that he wasnt trying to hurt me and thats why he didnt say anything. I told him that i really jut want to talk to him anymore and that i dont want to see him antmore either. I spoke to his parents and they didnt know and they said they will talk to him about things. Either way i have decided that i am no longer in the game for standing for my marriage. I thanked God for His revelations and praised Him for being with me and doing great things inside me and my heart. I am not mad at God at all for all this happening. He is such a good faithful God. I love Him so much and He loves me very much. I thank God for restoring me to Himself and restoring my life and healing me. I told God that i forgive my husband and of course i still ove him. And i also forgive the other girl. I will pray for their conviction and their salvation but thats it. I am still standing in agreement with you guys for your marriages though. God is so awesome for strengthening my heart and filling me with his faith and love. He is worthy of all praise and glory

Alli I am sorry I know exactly how it feels to have your spouse date someone you know and thought you trusted it's painful. While I do hope you reconsider your stand because everything God says about divorce remarriage and so on, I will not judge or think any less of you. I do know God will love you no matter what you decide just remember he doesn't lie or change His mind.

Thank you for that Scott. I told God that I still continue to relinquish everything to Him. I trust Him. If He truly wants to restore my marriage i know He will. Right now i know that the most important thing is my husbands salvation. Because the thing is i also saw that he was trying to flirt with another person as well. He is definitely on the path of destruction. But God sees all and knows all. I know satan is at work in my husband...but i know the power of our Heavenly Father. I know satan was trying to destroy me by doing this but i am still standing here laughing in his face claiming victory over my life. I know doesn't not lie nor change His mind. That is why i trust that He will restore what was taken from me. And He already has. My heart and my spirit are full of love and faith and hope and courage. God will convict those who have turned their backs on him. What my husband is doing to me is nothing compared to what he is doing against God and His word. I have faith that Gid will do what ever He needs to.

No it doesn't feel good at all Alli and I too am very sorry to hear this but Im also so glad to hear your attitude towards God hasn't changed.

I just know what I have felt and had to go thru with this and I would not wish this on anyone. By far been the hardest thing I have ever had to endure and broke me completely apart.

Its also been the reason for my absence of post lately. Still riding a roller coaster as I have good days and bad days where I have a flood of emotions all trying to happen at the same time and wonder If I want to continue this stand.

Im just sorry that it took what you posted for me to repost.



I thought at the time this may be better left unsaid however the sad truth of the matter is for some of these spouses its going to take them falling flat on their face from being lead so far on that path of destruction before they decide to turn to God and want to do things His way. Know, that's what it took for me.

But yes, God will eventually deal with those who do not turn and its not never a pleasant experience to fall into the hands of God and have to endure His punishment.

God answers prayers but at times its not in the way we wanted them answered. Sure all of us wanted our spouses to come to their senses and return on their own and Im not saying that wont happen with some however others God answers our prayers by allowing the other spouses to fall on their face because He knows that's what its going to take to shake them up and get their attention (again speaking from experience).

And yes, this could also be another stab by Satan trying to get you to fall but Gods got your back and he has something wonderful in store for you.



But what ever you decide to do no one here is going to think any less of you as you have been such a huge inspiration for so many of us.
