Call For Fasting 3

Hello everyone as we start this fast I felt led to share some verses on fasting.

Matthew 6: 16-18 And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

Isaiah 58:6 “Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?

Be strong during this fast, the enemy knows how powerful fasting is and will try to stop you by putting thoughts in your head of reasons to stop. Surround yourself in God's presence with music and reading His word. Speak to God continuously He will answer. There is so much power in fasting it will change you God will give you an encounter with Him. Seek His answers and be sure you pray for others not just yourself.

Job 42:10 - And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

My excitement of what God is going to do is so high right now. I can't wait to see the testimonies. Be strong and remember we have all authority over the enemy make sure you let the enemy know that you know that.

Amen ###! If I could throw a Harley Davidson to your face I totally would LOL! And thanks for sharing your battle with the spirit of anger. Praise God that He is giving you the strength to take control of that anger.

I also deal with bad spirits that I am learning to take control over. I battle with jealousy/insecurities. I have allowed them to take control of me and that is part of what drove my husband away. But God has given me the strength to face those spirits and take complete control over them. I thank Him for that.

I too have realized that I am battling with things as Paul says (the thorn in my side) I have even set up an appointment for deliverance\ inner healing at a local church that deals in it. I am excited to serve an eviction notice to all ungodly things that may be in me still. Plus I know my marriage will not be restored until God finishes the work in me He has started then He will work on my spouse. This trial happened because I wasn't right with God if I was then sin would not have crept in and destroyed what I had, so I am doing everything possible to let God completely change me into what He wants me to be, not for my marriage but because God deserves to be everything to me and He deserves all praise.

### you nailed it my friend. Had we been where we were supposed to too begin with, things could have been a whole lot different.

God is changing each and everyone of us as well during this process. Otherwise a spouse would come back to the person they left and here we go again.

Loved this prayer

Lord, I praise Your Holy Name. Lord, direct my footsteps every minute of my life. Lord, I do not know what to do regarding so many of my circumstances. I surrender my life to Your will and way. Lord, please give me wise counsel and instructions as You speak to my heart which direction and path I should take to follow You. Thank You for Your wisdom, knowledge and counsel as You speak to my heart.

May this Lord's Day be the day that thousands of prodigals will repent of their sinful lifestyle, coming to their senses, as they are rescued from the trap of the enemy. Lord, call their names, loudly. Shine Your radiant light on every prodigal spouse and my dear husband/wife so they can see the way of escape for them to come home repenting to You and back to our marriage. I pray this all in the mighty Name of Jesus. Amen.

Raven, the Harley comment was actually a good thing. I was saying that as a reward. I would have thrown it with love, so it probably wouldn't have hurt so much LOL!!! ;-)



Scott, God will deliver us all from the ungodly things that are trying to hang on tightly to us. I declare it! God sees our hearts and sees that we are trying our best to become the best that we CAN become. He is molding us. It's a process. For some it doesn't take so long, for others it takes a long time. Either way, we are changing for the better and God gets all the glory for it. He is also working in our spouses as well, even as we speak. We will ALL be new creatures in Christ. I'm excited to see what changes He is going to do within all of us and our spouses. I already see such growth in us all. It's such a blessing to be such a witness to God's work. Amen! Praise God!!!

Just pulling your leg alli, knew you meant the thrown Harley comment in a good way.

Kinda off topic with this but had new neighbors move in a few months back. A couple who are near my age. Noticed they went and bought a bike here a week or so ago. Been going down and talking to them and it's really been a blessing in that truth be told I had started slipping into a depressed state again whereas I didn't want to leave the house.

I can see an exact replica of how me and my wife used to be through them in the things they do. They pretty much stick together all day long and do everything together. The guy has told me also his dad is a preacher.

However, on the other side of me, I have a long-time neighbor who is in his own trial battling stage 4 cancer.

I'm figuring God has put these people in my life for a reason. Best guess on the neighbor battling cancer is to uplift one another through our trials, and he has told me his trial has really drawn him closer to God.

The couple? Not quite sure yet.
