Call For Fasting 3

Hello every one as we start this fast I felt lead to share some verses on fasting.

Matthew 6: 16-18 And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

Isiah 58:6 “Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?

Be strong during this fast, the enemy knows how powerful fasting is and will try to stop you by putting thoughts in your head of reasons to stop. Surround yourself in Gods presents with music and reading His word. Speak to God continuously He will answer. There is so much power in fasting it will change you God will give you an encounter with Him. Seek His answers and be sure you pray for others not just your self.

Job 42:10 - And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

My excitement of what God is going to do is so high right now. I can't wait to see the testimonies. Be strong and remember we have all authority over the enemy make sure you let the enemy know that you know that.

Im seeing a few similarities going on with "finding things out" either thru cell phones (despise the day those stupid things were created), emails, phone calls, or thru other people.

Let me give you my take on this and please heed my advice or at least give it some serious thought. I have been there already with the I just have to know way thinking. Once you find out, there is no going back to undue the door you open. You may think knowing will make you feel better but trust me, all it achieves is planting a thought/picture in your head that you will then have to carry around with you.

The not knowing or suspecting is ALOT better than the actual knowing please believe me. What Im carrying around in my mind now is nothing short of torment due to the I have to know way of thinking.

And yes, it has changed the way I view my wife now.

Could God put that love back into me? Yes he can as the bible says thru God all things are possible.

Please just give some serious thought on this before taking this approach. Because the info you find out could very well be alot worse than you ever would have imagined.

I agree, raven. I learned my lesson HARD the other day.



It's traumatic.

You can't undo it, and it just makes it harder to forgive/repair the damage.



STAY AWAY from the knowledge you seek yourself... Wait for and trust only the wisdom that God brings to you. It's for your own protection.

Case in point, I was served today from our Sheriffs dept with a no contact order with the OM.

Oh jeez...how did your wife respond to that??. because i'm sure she knows...

She advised him to. What was written in the paper were some things only known by my wife and her mother so all 3 of them are in it together. They had taken things said to them and twisted them around and out of context.

Im afraid my situation is getting ready to go Defcon 4.

When my son had heard I was served with papers, he was mad as his mom had taken some things he said and twisted them around and told her boyfriend/OM so my son came to me and told me he sent her a text telling her he was fed up with her.

PRAISE REPORT!



Let me first be honest & confess this: Yesterday, I was feeling very tired & a bit defeated. I've been so worn out with my daily routines, I had several doctors' visits, blood & lab tests, not feeling well, and stressed out over so many things. I whispered to God a few times, but yesterday I didn't have the energy or motivation to pray like I have been. I asked God this morning for insight, because I am weary. (A part of me just wanted to give up.)



Well, I have been praying Hedges of Thorns, reading scripture against adultery, and praying warfare against the spirit of Jezebel...

And then today, I discovered that my husband is becoming uncomfortable, and the other woman is starting to push him away. Hebrews 11:24 says that the pleasures of sin are only for a season. I pray that the season of the wicked comes to an end, and I claim God's promise that I will reap in steadfast love & God's righteousness if I stay in faith.



God is working in my situation! Friends, my user blog has a few prayers that I have been using. Recognizing that this is a spiritual battle, I invite you to pray these over your husbands, wives, and the OW/OM. Also, Proverbs 5 & 7 are scriptures against adultery. I encourage you to use those as well.



This revelation was a reminder for me to stand firm & pray without ceasing. I am eager to see the Lord continue his work on our hearts & on the situation.

Praise God Mariposa!!! I am so happy for you sister!! That is truly a blessing from God Himself. He is moving on your behalf and I am excited for you. I shall continue my fast and continue praying for all prodigal spouses here! Amen!



Raven, I am sorry about that. My prayers go out to you and your son. I will be praying for the rest of the evening for these spouses and the other people that they are involved with. Satan is fighting as hard as he can now and he is getting desperate. God WILL turn this situation around. Keep praying brother. I'm praying with you and for you.
