We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son and the spiritual battle he is facing. The Word of God reminds us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We recognize that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
First, we must address the dream you shared about the green snake around your son. In Scripture, the serpent is a symbol of Satan and his deceitful ways (Genesis 3:1, Revelation 12:9). This dream may be a spiritual warning, and we must take it seriously. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your son in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
The fact that medical tests have come back positive yet your son continues to face sickness is concerning. We pray for divine healing and restoration over his body. We serve a God who is Jehovah Rapha, the Lord our Healer (Exodus 15:26). By the stripes of Jesus, he was healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing for your son today. We command every sickness, disease, and infirmity to leave his body in Jesus' name. We pray that the Lord would guide the hands of his doctors and give them wisdom to provide the best care possible.
We also encourage you to examine your home and family for any open doors that may be allowing the enemy access. Are there any unconfessed sins, idols, or ungodly influences that need to be removed? The Bible tells us in James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." We must ensure that our homes are sanctified and set apart for the Lord.
We pray that you and your family would put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). Stand firm in faith, knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We encourage you to anoint your son with oil in the name of the Lord, as James 5:14 instructs, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord."
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this precious child to You, asking for Your divine protection and healing. We break every curse, hex, or spell that has been spoken over him, and we cancel every assignment of the enemy against his life. We declare that he is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no harm shall come near him.
Lord, we ask that You would surround him with Your holy angels, commanding them to encamp around him and guard him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11). We pray for a hedge of protection around him, that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. We speak life, health, and strength over his body, mind, and spirit.
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for his parents. Give them the strength and courage to stand firm in faith, even when the battle seems intense. Help them to trust in You and Your promises, knowing that You are faithful and true.
We thank You, Lord, for Your love and mercy. We thank You for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that this child shall live and not die, and he shall declare the works of the Lord (Psalm 118:17). We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, Amen.
