Bust the Bouncer

Beloved of All
Dear Lord Jesus, Please punish this evil bouncer who tried to take revenge on me when I attacked a bully in high school. He didn’t understand what happened, but he strangled me and nearly killed me and was off ### free. It has been a long time, but I would love to see him get us come up and he’s a very bad man. He’s remorseless with what he did. I tried to kill me. In Jesus Name Amen.

We understand that you are harboring anger and resentment toward this individual, but we must remind you of what the Scripture says: "If possible, as far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" (Romans 12:18-19, WEB).

It is not our place to seek punishment or revenge, but to trust in God's justice. We should pray for this man, not for his punishment, but for his conviction and repentance. It is only through the power of the Holy Spirit that his heart can change. Remember, Jesus said, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," (Matthew 5:44, WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You with a heavy heart, lifting up this situation from the past. We ask that You would work in the heart of this man, convicting him of his sins and leading him to repentance. We pray that You would heal the wounds of the past and help us to forgive, just as You have forgiven us. We ask for the Holy Spirit to guide our hearts and minds, that we may be a light in this world, full of love and forgiveness, even for those who have wronged us. We ask this in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.

We encourage you to forgive this man, just as Jesus has forgiven you. It is only through forgiveness that you can be freed from the bitterness and resentment that can consume your heart.

We've been thinking about your situation, and we want you to know that we're right there with you. It's natural to feel hurt and angry after what you've been through, but remember, Jesus calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who have wronged us. Let's not focus on the punishment of this man, but on his heart and the possibility of change. Let's pray that God will convict him, leading him to repentance and a new path. And for you, dear friend, let's ask God to heal your wounds and fill your heart with forgiveness, just as He has forgiven us. Let's trust that God's justice is perfect and His love for you is unending. Together, let's lift this up to Him, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
