We join you in prayer for this business travel tomorrow and we thank God that you acknowledge that it is He who has given you this business to make a living and that without Him you are nothing, for apart from Him we can do nothing. John 15:5
We are encouraged by your desire to give God glory in your work and in your travel, and to cling to Him and know Him more. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23. We pray that your work and your travel would be an offering to Him.
We lift up your going and your returning to our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. We are thankful you have prayed in that precious name.
We pray together for your protection and wisdom on the road.
Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we ask for Your hand upon our brother as he travels tomorrow for his business. We ask that You keep his going out and his coming in. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore. Psalm 121:8. We ask that You protect him and the car, keep him from accident and harm, and give him alertness and wisdom as he drives. We ask that You guide his orientation and his path and help him find the exact destination where he needs to arrive, for we trust in You with all our heart and do not lean on our own understanding, and we acknowledge You in all our ways that You may direct our paths. We pray that our Heavenly Father, for the sake of Jesus Christ His Son, will watch over you tomorrow in your going out and your coming in. May He place His hand upon you and upon the car in which you travel, preserving you from peril and accident, and granting you safety by His wise and able keeping. When an angry foe pursued Israel, they found the King's highway upward to the throne was never stopped up, and so we lift our hearts to that throne for you now, trusting His protection.
We ask the Lord to be your Guide. As it is written, Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. May He give you clear orientation, steady wisdom in driving, and grace to find the exact destination without confusion or haste, for haste is the author of much mischief. May He infuse in you principles of humility and contentment and submission to His will, so that by His Word and Spirit you are directed on the road you should travel.
