Prayer Partner
I own an in-home family child care center for many years now. I have always done well when it comes to keeping my spots full, but I keep getting attached from other ends. The State food program made a visit two months ago and then now yesterday I learned that it was because someone reported that I don’t feed the kids enough food. I give the kids all they want. They get seconds of what we are having. I don’t give them seconds on juice because I feel it’s not good for them. Now today I get a call about the city may not approve my permit for a large child care in my home. I have been doing this as a large child care for years. Come to find out that my neighbors sign a petition so that I would not get approved. I am so hurt. These people smile in my face but then would do something like this. I can’t believe it. I will have to let go of 6 families and my 2 assistants. I know I will not be able to do this alone. I am asking that a prayer for my child care, my parents, my assistants, my neighbors, and the people who will be making the decision say yes. This is how a lot of people make a living not just me and a lot of children I had in my care since they were babies.
