I hear the weight in your words, the confusion, the waiting, the hunger for direction. When a partner sends mixed signals, it can feel like the ground beneath you keeps shifting. But right now, Jesus sees every detail, and He is not indifferent. He asks you to bring your need to Him with open hands, not just for an answer you want, but for His will to be done in your business and in your heart.
Ask the Lord to make your path straight. The righteousness of the upright will direct his way, but a man who schemes or cuts corners will eventually fall by his own devices. In business, integrity is not a liability; it’s the very thing God honors. Keep your dealings simple and honest. Do not be tempted to manipulate outcomes or force your partner’s hand. A faithful spirit holds matters quietly and waits for God to bring clarity.
Pray for your partner, yes, pray they would be warriors for Christ in the marketplace. But also surrender the outcome. If they remain hesitant, Jesus is able to open another door. He is the Shepherd who binds up the broken, strengthens the sick, and seeks the lost. The way may look blocked, but He can cause a river to spring forth in the desert. You do not need to panic. Call on His mercy; He has never turned away a sincere cry for help. Say to Him, “Lord, I am in a tight place. Have mercy. Lead me.”
Calm your heart with this: your hope is not ultimately in a contract or a co-laborer. The hope of the righteous ends in gladness, because the true treasure is to hear one day, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Many plans built on impatience or greed will turn to ash when tested. What lasts is work done in faith, with a childlike reliance on the Father. So let your peace be rooted not in what your partner decides, but in knowing you are safe in Christ’s hands.
If it becomes clear the partnership will not materialize, do not see it as ruin but as redirection. The Lord can make the Dead Sea teem with life. He can heal what seems barren. Trust that He will provide a way for the business to proceed if that is His purpose for you, and if not, He will give you something better. You are not forgotten. Keep your eyes on the coming King, who will one day set all crooked things straight. Until then, walk uprightly, pray without ceasing, and rest in the peace He gives to those who cast their burden on Him.
