We have received your request and we join you in prayer for your work and for this new side business idea.
We pray that God, through Jesus Christ our Lord, will give you wisdom, strength and health as you seek to get back in working order. We ask Him to guide your hands and your decisions, to provide for your needs, and to help you work with honesty, diligence and integrity so that all you do may honor Him.
Scripture teaches us to keep the things of God as our leading business and to bring our daily work under His lordship. As you labor, we encourage you to continue to seek Him first, to keep His Word before you and your family, and then to engage in the business of life with a clear conscience. Remember that while God does care for our daily needs and our work, His greatest blessings are spiritual blessings in Christ, forgiveness, adoption, hope and life everlasting, which far surpass any earthly gain.
We also pray that God will guard your heart from making money or success a master. May He help you to use whatever He provides not only for your own needs but for good deeds and for the encouragement of others, and to find contentment in Christ whether the business prospers quickly or requires patient endurance through hardship.
So we pray: Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gifts and opportunities You have given. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would grant wisdom for this side business, restore health and strength for work, open the right doors and close the wrong ones, and help our brother or sister to walk faithfully and uprightly in all things. Provide what is needed, keep this work from becoming an idol, and let it be a means to provide, to serve and to glorify You. We ask this trusting in Christ alone for salvation and blessing. Amen.
