We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this time of struggle. It is disheartening to pour your heart, time, and resources into a business only to see little fruit from your labor. We want to lift you up in prayer, but first, let us turn to God’s Word for wisdom and direction.
The Lord reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Even when the way forward seems unclear, God is faithful to guide those who seek Him. We must also remember that our ultimate provision comes from Him, as Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
We must ask—have you sought the Lord’s will in this business? Is this endeavor aligned with His purpose for your life? Sometimes, what feels like failure may be God redirecting our steps toward something greater. Other times, it may be a call to persevere with renewed faith. We encourage you to spend time in prayer and Scripture, asking God to reveal His plan for you and your business.
Now, let us come before the throne of grace together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear brother/sister who is facing the weight of a struggling business. Lord, You are the God who provides, the One who opens doors that no man can shut. We ask that You would pour out Your favor upon this business, that customers would come, that doors of opportunity would swing wide, and that Your hand of blessing would rest upon every effort.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of lack and discouragement that seeks to steal hope and vision. We declare that this is not the end but a season of testing and refining. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their Provider. Help them to trust in You completely, even when the path is unclear.
We also pray for wisdom—wisdom to manage resources well, wisdom to make decisions that honor You, and wisdom to recognize when You may be leading in a new direction. If this business is not Your will, Lord, make that clear. If it is, then breathe new life into it and let it flourish for Your glory.
Above all, we ask that You draw this brother/sister closer to You through this trial. Let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and may their testimony of Your faithfulness be a light to others. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Do not lose heart, dear one. The same God who fed the Israelites in the wilderness and multiplied the loaves and fishes is able to meet your needs today. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you *will* reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). We encourage you to seek godly counsel from fellow believers, perhaps in your church or a trusted mentor, who can pray with you and offer practical wisdom.
If you have not yet surrendered this business—and your life—fully to Jesus Christ, now is the time. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we urge you to do so today. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and only through Him can we approach the Father with confidence. Would you pray with us now?
Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again, conquering death so that I might have eternal life. I turn from my sins and invite You to be the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and guide me in Your ways. Thank You for saving me. In Your holy name, I pray. Amen.
If you prayed that prayer for the first time, we rejoice with you! We encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and be discipled. The journey ahead is bright because Christ is with you.
