Hello all, I am embarking on a food business in uk. This business will have Bible verse at bottom of packages. Atleast if a person sees it, it may embark curiosity and it will lead them to the scriptures. My aim is to create a community and a culture around this which will have a positive impact but please also pray that i may be able to spend time with family as I have learnt they this is the most valuable thing and a gift from God. Thank you

The Bible tells us, "Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 5:16 WEB). Your desire to point others to God’s truth is commendable, and we believe the Lord will bless this effort as you remain faithful to Him.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with thanksgiving for Your servant’s obedience in using their business to spread Your Word. We ask that You anoint this endeavor, Lord, that every package bearing Your Scripture would be a seed planted in fertile soil. May curiosity lead to conviction, and conviction to salvation in Jesus’ name. We also pray for Your grace to guard their time with family, that their home would be a place of peace, joy, and godly love. Give them wisdom to prioritize what truly matters, and let their life reflect the balance of faithful work and devoted love. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

One practical encouragement is to seek the Lord daily for direction in both your business and family life. The book of Proverbs reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). As you commit each decision to Him, He will guide you in ways that honor Him and bless those around you.

We also want to gently remind you that the ultimate goal of sharing Scripture is to lead people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. While curiosity about the Bible is a good start, true transformation comes when hearts surrender to Him. Pray that the Holy Spirit would use your business as a tool to draw souls to repentance and faith in Christ. As it is written, "For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12 WEB). May the Scriptures you share not return void but accomplish the purpose for which God sends them.

Lastly, we encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, not just for your business and family, but for the souls who will encounter God’s Word through your packaging. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (Luke 10:2). May the Lord raise up more believers like you who are willing to creatively share the Gospel in their spheres of influence. It is with real thankfulness that we have heard your purpose, and we do rejoice that you desire to make your daily calling subservient to the glory of Christ. To place a verse of Scripture where the eye must fall upon it is a simple and yet a powerful testimony. As it has been said, the Christian cannot help being discovered, and his conversation should be seasoned so that a man may know him to be a Christian. What you propose is a form of shining, for the text saith, Arise, shine, for thy light is come. You may not preach with the tongue in every house, but you can set the Word before men in this quiet way, and who can tell but the Spirit of God may use that single line to awaken curiosity, and curiosity may lead to inquiry, and inquiry to the reading of the Scriptures, and so to salvation through Jesus Christ alone.

We will pray for you, that the Lord will prosper the work of your hands as He sees fit, that He will give you wisdom, integrity and diligence in all the affairs of this business in the United Kingdom, that every package may go forth with a faithful verse rightly handled, and that a true community of good influence may gather around it, not for mere commerce but for the honour of His name.

We will pray also for that which you have rightly prized, your family. You have learned what many learn too late, that family is a gift from God and that no gain in business can compensate for the loss of those hours which belong to wife and children and to the worship of God in the home. We pray that the Lord will teach you to order your time with holy prudence, that you may not be consumed by care, but may keep the Sabbath and the family altar and the quiet seasons of love at home. May He keep you from that snare of ceaseless toil which robs the soul of fellowship with Christ, for the branch cannot bear fruit except it abide in the vine.

May the Lord make you both faithful in business and joyful at home, rich in faith even if not rich in goods, and may He bless your household and your enterprise to His own glory. We commend you to His gracious keeping and will remember you before the throne.

It is good to hear of your desire to honor God in your daily work and to use the business He has entrusted to you as a way to make His word known. To place Scripture before people in such a simple and humble way is a faithful use of your calling, for the word of God does not return empty but works in the heart of each person who reads it, even if only a single verse at first stirs curiosity to seek more.

I pray that the Lord will give you wisdom and diligence as you establish this food business in the UK, that your labor may be honest, your products excellent, and your witness clear. Your desire to use your food business to point people to Scripture is encouraging, and your heart to keep family as a priority is right before the Lord.

Putting a verse on your packaging can spark curiosity and open a door for someone to seek God, and it will also mark you out. As the world grows more corrupt, a life lived for Christ stands out more clearly. People notice when someone seeks to live honestly and mercifully and to hunger for righteousness, and they will watch your business more closely because you bear the name of Jesus. That is a good opportunity, and it is also a responsibility to reflect Him well.

In business God delights in fairness and honesty. The proverb says a dishonest scale is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is His delight. That principle applies directly to commerce, to how you measure ingredients, price your goods, treat customers and suppliers, and keep your word. Others may cut corners, but because you belong to Christ, people will expect more from you. Choose to do what is right even when others do not, and let integrity be the testimony that goes with the verse on the package.

Your second request is just as important. Scripture teaches that if a person does not provide and care for the needs of his own family, he has denied the faith, and it calls us to honor father and mother. Family ties are one of the strongest foundations God has given to society, and when they break down the consequences are tragic. Your recognition that time with family is a valuable gift from God is wisdom.

Many people struggle to find balance between work, family and other relationships, and spend great effort trying to adjust everything on the horizontal level. The deeper issue is the vertical relationship with God. When your relationship with God is off center, every other relationship feels out of balance and you live in a constant topsy turvy effort to correct it. When you put God at the center and seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, the other relationships begin to find their proper balance. That does not mean the demands of a new business will disappear, but it means your decisions about time, priorities, and rest will flow from seeking Him first rather than from pressure or ambition.

The Christian life is also described as a race to be run with endurance, finishing the course and keeping the faith. Building a business and a community around it will require perseverance, and keeping family and faithfulness together will require the same endurance. Stay rooted in prayer, in the Word, and in faithful fellowship with other believers.

Praying for you that God will give you wisdom in this venture, that He will bless the work of your hands as you deal honestly and fairly with all people, that the verses you share will lead curious hearts to open the Bible and meet Jesus Christ who alone saves, and that the Lord will guard your time and help you care well for your family while you serve Him. May He keep your life centered on Him so that your home, your work, and your witness all reflect His love.
