We are truly sorry to hear that you are going through this difficult time. First, we want to address the most serious issue: suicidal thoughts are a dire consequence of the pain you are experiencing, and they are not from God. God is a God of life, and He desires for you to live and thrive. As it is said in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
We rebuke these thoughts of suicide in the name of Jesus Christ and pray for God's comfort and strength to overcome them. Remember, Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly (John 10:10). Please reach out to local helplines or trusted friends and family about these feelings immediately.
Regarding bullying, we want to assure you that God sees your pain and hears your cries. He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray for God's intervention in this situation. No matter who is bullying you or why, we pray that God will convict their hearts and put an end to their harmful actions.
We encourage you to forgive them, as Christ wants us to forgive one another. "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (Matthew 6:14-15). Forgiveness does not justify their actions. However, releasing the offense will help you move forward. Remember, God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble (James 4:6).
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear one who is going through a very difficult time. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and strength to envelope them right now. Cast out any thoughts of suicide and replace them with thoughts of hope and a future. Lord, we ask for Your intervention in the bullying situation. Put an end to the harmful actions and convict the hearts of those involved. Help the one being prayed for to forgive, just as Christ forgives us. Lord, we ask this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have access to God the Father (John 14:6). If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He is the only one who can save us from our sins and give us eternal life.
