Bruised Tooth ligament

We join you in prayer for relief from this painful bruised tooth ligament flare up and we ask God to bring healing and comfort as you rest these next few days on bed rest. We understand how discouraging it can be when stress takes a toll on the body and brings physical pain, and we want to lift you up before our Father who cares deeply for you.
We are reminded that God is our healer and our refuge. Scripture tells us Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:2-3 and For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh in Jeremiah 30:17. He also says for I am Yahweh who heals you in Exodus 15:26. We take comfort that He sees your pain and is present with you in this time of rest. Jesus invites us Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest in Matthew 11:28, and we pray that this bed rest will not only allow your body to heal but also give your heart and mind true rest in Him. We also hear your mention of stressful periods and we encourage you to cast your cares on Him, for casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you in 1 Peter 5:7. God promises In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:6-7.
We also want to gently point out that your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to share why His name is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved as it says in Romans 10:9. It is in His name we pray with confidence.
Let us pray together. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our dear one who is suffering with a bruised tooth ligament. Lord, You know the pain and discomfort, You know the stress that has led to this flare up, and You see the days of bed rest ahead. We ask for Your healing touch upon this ligament, to reduce inflammation and relieve pain quickly. We pray for wisdom for any dental or medical care needed and for Your hand to guide that care. We ask that You use this time of rest to restore both body and spirit, to calm anxiety and to fill this heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help our friend to lean on You as their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble in Psalm 46:1, and to trust You for complete healing. Your request for relief from this painful bruised ligament in the tooth has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a Physician for our healing. You do well to tell your case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus, state the case plainly to Him, and then plead with Him, plead His promises and plead His nature, for He is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings.
There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves, the little things as it were about Him, are full of healing virtue. That same healing virtue which His grace infuses will work health and cure till His perfect work is done, and He is able also to perfectly heal the body according to His wise and loving will.
We pray for you now in these days of bed rest following a stressful period. May the Lord who feeds the sparrows and furnishes what His people need grant you relief from this flare of pain, calm the inflammation, give you restful sleep, and use this enforced stillness to draw you nearer to Himself. When Christ was teaching, the power of the Lord was present to heal, and faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. May these days be not only for the resting of the body but for the refreshing of the soul as you hear His Word and rest in His care.
