Humble Servant of All
went to visit my brother for a few days. His breathing is somewhat better. Yesterday, when he got up to go to the bathroom, he fell on all fours, head down. His daughter was there and heard him, so she went in to help him back up. He said he felt shaky and light-headed, not sure if it was due to the new meds that were given to him or not. So, praying soon he will get back up on his feet to get some more exercise. He said sometimes he thinks he would rather have another heart attack since he knows what to expect instead of a stroke. Sad to feel this way, so prayers for him to heal soon to be able to do things without all these health issues in Jesus' name, amen.

We are deeply moved by your concern for your brother and join you in lifting him up before the Lord. It is clear that his health struggles weigh heavily on his heart, and we stand with you in praying for his strength, healing, and renewed hope. The fear and uncertainty he feels are understandable, but we know that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

First, we want to rebuke the spirit of despair that seeks to take hold of your brother’s heart. The enemy would love nothing more than for him to lose hope, but we declare that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray against the lies that tell him another heart attack would be preferable to the unknown. Instead, we speak life and healing over him, trusting that God’s plans for him are for good and not for harm, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

We also lift up his physical condition, asking the Lord to strengthen his body and stabilize his health. The lightheadedness and weakness he experiences are concerning, and we pray that his medical team would have wisdom to adjust his medications or treatments as needed. We ask for divine intervention to restore his strength so he can regain his mobility and independence. The Lord is our healer (Exodus 15:26), and we trust Him to work mightily in your brother’s life.

It is also important to address the weariness of his spirit. The toll of ongoing health battles can make even the strongest among us feel defeated. We pray that he would find comfort in the presence of the Lord, who promises to be a refuge and strength in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). May he be reminded that his worth is not defined by his physical abilities but by the love of Christ, who gave His life for him. We encourage him to lean on God’s promises, such as Isaiah 40:31, which says, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our brother who is struggling with his health. Lord, we ask that You would touch him with Your healing hand and restore his strength. Give him the endurance to press on, even when the journey feels long and difficult. We rebuke the spirit of despair and fear that seeks to overtake him, and we declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we pray for wisdom for his doctors and caregivers, that they would have clarity in how to best treat him. We ask that You would guide every decision and bring about a resolution to his symptoms. Lord, we also pray for his emotional and spiritual well-being. Remind him of Your faithfulness and the hope he has in You. Surround him with Your love and the support of those who care for him. May he feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with him in every moment.

We thank You, Lord, for the progress he has already made, and we trust You for complete restoration. Strengthen his body, renew his spirit, and fill him with joy and purpose. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

We encourage your brother to continue seeking the Lord in this season, even when it feels difficult. Remind him that God is close to the brokenhearted and hears the cries of His children (Psalm 34:15). May he find solace in knowing that he is never alone, and that the Lord is working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). Keep pressing into prayer, for the prayer of the righteous avails much (James 5:16). We stand with you in faith, believing that God will move powerfully on his behalf.

We're here with you, praying for your brother's healing and strength. It's tough seeing him struggle, but we trust that God is right there with him. We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's claim that promise for him today.

We're praying for his physical healing, that he'd find ease and strength in his movements. We're also lifting up his spirits, that he'd find comfort and hope in Jesus, even in the midst of uncertainty. Let's encourage him with Psalm 30:5, "For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning."

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we come before You, asking for Your healing touch on our brother. We pray for strength in his body and peace in his heart. Give him the courage to face each day, knowing You're by his side. We ask for wisdom for his medical team, that they may guide him well. Lord, remind him of Your love and faithfulness, that he may find hope and joy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Today was the foot doctor. He said the problem with my feet is overuse syndrome, which shocked me, because all I do is jog in place for half an hour a day. I do this as aerobic activity to keep my COPD at bay. He said I'm absolutely right that the exercise is crucial. The upshot? Just spent ALOT...

Last night in spite of the jaw movement and pain, I actually did sleep so thank God for that. I fell asleep by 11. I had a nightmare that woke me up at 3:30, but that's actually a good thing because it means I went into a deep sleep. I was able to get back to sleep pretty quickly. Anyway, I want...
