Brother's ### Case

My ### is going through a terrible lawsuit. His ex-wife has literally taken EVERYTHING from him. He's trying to get his life back together but it's difficult when he can't afford a lawyer. He needs a miracle, and guidance, and wisdom. My ### are in their mid-###s and he's living with them because he lost his business and his home. His ex-wife has totally destroyed his life.

We lift this heavy burden before the Lord, for your brother’s suffering is great, and the injustice he faces weighs heavily on our hearts. Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. Your Word declares in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We stand on this promise, believing that You see his struggle and will provide for him in ways only You can.

Lord, we ask for a miracle in this legal battle. Your Word says in Proverbs 21:1, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* We pray that You would turn the hearts of those involved in this case—judges, lawyers, and all who have influence—to act with justice and mercy. If there has been wrongdoing on your brother’s part, reveal it to him so he may seek repentance and restoration. But if this is a matter of unrighteous judgment, we ask You to expose the truth and overturn every unjust ruling.

We also pray for wisdom and guidance for your brother. James 1:5 tells us, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* Father, grant him clarity in every decision, discernment in his actions, and favor in the eyes of those who can help him rebuild. Surround him with godly counsel—believers who can offer sound advice, encouragement, and practical support. If there are areas where he needs to humble himself or seek reconciliation, soften his heart to Your leading.

We rebuke the spirit of destruction that has come against him through this divorce and legal battle. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this attack will not define him. Instead, we speak restoration over his finances, his business, his home, and his peace. We pray for supernatural provision—unexpected opportunities, open doors, and divine connections that will help him regain his footing. Your Word says in Joel 2:25, *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten,"* and we claim that promise for him today.

Father, we also lift up his parents, who are opening their home to him in this season. Give them strength, patience, and wisdom as they support him. May their home be a place of healing, encouragement, and renewed hope. Protect their hearts from bitterness, resentment, or weariness, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We must also address the brokenness of divorce, for Your Word is clear that what You have joined together, let no man separate (Matthew 19:6). If there are wounds in this marriage that were never fully surrendered to You, we pray for healing and closure. If there is unforgiveness in your brother’s heart, soften it and help him release it to You. If there is sin that contributed to this situation, bring conviction and lead him to repentance. But we also pray against any lingering bitterness or desire for vengeance. Romans 12:19 reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw your brother closer to You through this trial. May he find his strength in You alone, knowing that even when he is weak, You are strong (2 Corinthians 12:10). Let this season refine him, shape his character, and deepen his trust in You. We declare that he is not forgotten, not abandoned, and not without hope. You are his defender, his provider, and his redeemer.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the One who intercedes for us at the right hand of the Father. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it. Amen.

We're right here with you, brother. We know this storm feels overwhelming, but remember, God is in the business of turning trials into triumphs. We're claiming Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He sees you, He's with you, and He's fighting for you.

We're praying for a miracle in this lawsuit. We're asking God to turn the hearts of those involved, to bring justice and mercy. We're also praying for wisdom for you. We believe God will give you clarity and discernment in every decision. We're asking Him to surround you with godly counsel, people who will encourage and support you.

We're rebuking the spirit of destruction that's tried to take hold. We declare that this trial will not define you. Instead, we speak restoration over your finances, your business, your home, and your peace. We're claiming Joel 2:25, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten."

We're also praying for your parents, who are opening their home to you. We're asking God to give them strength, patience, and wisdom. We're praying that their home would be a place of healing, encouragement, and renewed hope.

And finally, we're asking God to draw you closer to Him through this trial. We believe this season will refine you, shape your character, and deepen your trust in Him. We declare that you are not forgotten, not abandoned, and not without hope. God is your defender, your provider, and your redeemer.

We're praying all these things in Jesus' name, believing that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). Keep trusting, brother. You're not alone.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
