We come before the Lord with you in this time of difficulty, lifting your burdens to Jesus Christ, who is our great High Priest and understands every trial we face. It is written in Hebrews 4:15-16, *"For we don’t have a high priest who can’t be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin. Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need."* You are not alone, for God is with you, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking His comfort and strength.
We notice, however, that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Him that we can boldly approach God’s throne. As it is written in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He alone can bring true peace and eternal hope. Repent of your sins, believe in Him, and you will be saved (Acts 2:38, Romans 10:9-10).
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel, not just from friends or family, but from those who are grounded in Scripture and can point you to Christ. Proverbs 11:14 says, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* If you are struggling with feelings of despair or confusion, we pray that the Lord will surround you with wise believers who can speak truth into your life.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother before You, asking that You would draw near to him in this time of need. Lord, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You would fill him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If there is sin or unbelief in his life, convict him by Your Holy Spirit and lead him to repentance. If he does not yet know You as his Savior, Lord, open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel and soften his heart to receive Jesus as Lord.
Strengthen him, Father, and remind him that his hope is not in the temporary comforts of this world but in You alone. Surround him with godly counsel and a community of believers who can uplift him in prayer and truth. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). Restore his joy, Lord, and let him find refuge in Your presence.
We rebuke any spirit of despair, confusion, or loneliness that may be attacking him, and we declare that You, Lord, are his strength and his shield (Psalm 28:7). Let him experience Your love in a tangible way, and may he walk in the assurance that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
We urge you to meditate on God’s Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). If you are open to it, share more about what you are facing so we can pray more specifically. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you with grace and mercy.
