Brother and ###-yr old daughter

Summary (due to privacy): Sad because these people I love are using strong drugs and my daughter already hasn't had her child in ### years.

Our hearts ache with you as we lift up this heavy burden before the Lord. The pain of watching loved ones walk in destructive paths is deep, and we know the Father sees your tears and hears your cries. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we stand firm in the truth that Christ has already overcome the world (John 16:33).

First, let us address the gravity of substance abuse and the spiritual battle at hand. The Bible warns us, *"Don’t you know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are"* (1 Corinthians 3:16-17, WEB). Those trapped in addiction are enslaved to sin, and *"everyone who sins is a slave to sin"* (John 8:34, WEB). Yet, there is hope—*"If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed!"* (John 8:36, WEB). We must pray for deliverance, repentance, and a turning back to God, for *"the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:15, WEB).

Regarding your daughter’s struggle with infertility, we know this is a painful trial. The Bible tells us that children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), but we also recognize that God’s timing and purposes are not always our own. Sarah, Rebekah, Rachel, Hannah, and Elizabeth all walked this road of barrenness before the Lord opened their wombs in His perfect time. We encourage you to trust in His sovereignty, for *"all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28, WEB). Let us pray that your daughter’s faith would remain steadfast, that she would find comfort in the Lord’s presence, and that if it is His will, He would grant the desire of her heart for a child.

Yet, we must also ask: **Has your daughter surrendered this pain to the Lord?** Sometimes, bitterness or unbelief can take root when prayers seem unanswered. Let us pray that she would draw near to God, for *"he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him"* (Hebrews 11:6, WEB). If there is any sin—unforgiveness, idolatry of desire, or turning away from God in frustration—we ask the Holy Spirit to convict and restore.

Now, let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this brokenhearted parent and their beloved family. Lord, You see the destruction that drugs have wrought in their lives—how the enemy has sought to bind them in chains of addiction. We rebuke the spirits of bondage, deception, and death that have taken hold, and we declare in Jesus’ name that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). Break every stronghold, Lord! Set the captives free by the power of Your Spirit. Convict their hearts of sin, lead them to repentance, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit so they may walk in newness of life.

For this daughter who longs for a child, we ask for Your comfort and peace that surpasses understanding. Heal the wounds of delay and disappointment. If it is Your will, open her womb as You did for Sarah and Hannah. But above all, let her find her satisfaction in You alone, for You are the Giver of all good gifts. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her trust in Your perfect plan, even when the path is unclear.

Father, we ask for wisdom for this parent—how to love fiercely while speaking truth, how to stand in the gap in prayer while setting godly boundaries. Give them Your words to speak, Your love to share, and Your discernment to know when to act and when to wait. Surround this family with believers who will uphold them in prayer and point them to Christ.

We declare that *"the Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who have crushed spirits"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Let Your presence be their strength. Let Your truth be their anchor. And let Your deliverance be their testimony.

We pray all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the authority to break every chain and restore every broken place. Amen."*

---
Finally, we urge you to **stand firm in faith** and **persist in prayer**. Do not grow weary, for *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB). Surround yourself with a community of believers who will intercede alongside you. And remember: even when we don’t see the breakthrough, God is working. *"For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory"* (2 Corinthians 4:17, WEB).

If your loved ones are not walking with the Lord, we encourage you to share the Gospel with them gently but boldly. Remind them that *"all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God"* (Romans 3:23, WEB), but *"the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"* (Romans 6:23, WEB). Salvation in Christ is the first step to true freedom—from addiction, from sin, and from every stronghold of the enemy.

We are standing with you in this fight. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing that our God is able to do *"exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think"* (Ephesians 3:20, WEB).

We're right there with you, dear friend, as you carry this heavy burden. It's heart-wrenching to see loved ones ensnared in addiction, and we know the pain of infertility can be just as profound. Let's lift our voices together in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.

Lord, we come before You, laying down these precious souls at Your feet. We ask for Your mighty hand to break the chains of addiction that bind them. Reveal the truth of their slavery to sin, and draw them to the freedom only You can provide. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and give them the strength to turn away from their destructive paths.

For your daughter, Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace. Heal her heart and give her the desire of her heart, if it be Your will. But above all, help her to find her satisfaction in You alone. Give her the faith to trust in Your perfect plan, even when the path is unclear.

Strengthen this family, Lord. Give them wisdom to love fiercely yet speak truth, to stand in the gap in prayer, and to set godly boundaries. Surround them with believers who will uphold them in prayer and point them to Christ.

We declare that You are close to the brokenhearted, Lord. Let Your presence be their strength, Your truth their anchor, and Your deliverance their testimony.

We pray all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing, dear friend. Our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us to lift up your heartache before the Lord these past few days. It is an honor to stand with you in prayer for your daughter and grandchild, as well as for the others you love who are struggling with the bondage of addiction. We know how deeply this pain must weigh on you, and we have been praying earnestly for God’s comfort to surround you, His conviction to rest upon those who are lost in substance use, and His restoration to bring healing to your family.

If there has been any progress—whether a softened heart, a step toward recovery, or even a small glimmer of hope—we would love for you to share a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the burden still feels heavy and the situation unchanged, please don’t hesitate to post an update so we can continue to intercede with you. We will not grow weary in praying for breakthrough, for salvation, and for the return of what the enemy has stolen.

May the Lord strengthen you with His peace that surpasses understanding as you trust Him in this season. We are believing with you for the day when your daughter and grandchild are restored to you, and when those you love turn from destruction to the hope found only in Christ. Keep seeking Him, dear brother—He hears, He sees, and He is at work, even when we cannot yet see the fruit. We are standing firm in prayer with you. In Jesus’ name.
