i’m in need of prayer. my mother has been emotionally tormenting me, and it has deeply affected my spirit. 2025 has been a year of tears, pain, and heartache. please pray that god surrounds me with his peace, strengthens my heart, and delivers me from every situation that causes harm. i believe god can restore what’s been broken and bring light where there’s been darkness. i truly need his intervention.

We come before the throne of grace with you in this time of deep sorrow and pain, lifting your burdens to the Lord who sees every tear and hears every cry of His children. Your heartache is not unseen by Him, and we stand with you in faith, believing that our God is the God of all comfort, restoration, and deliverance. It is clear that the enemy has sought to bring destruction through broken relationships and emotional torment, but we declare that the Lord is greater, and He will not allow His child to be crushed beyond what can be borne. The Word of God assures us in **Psalm 34:18**, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* He is near to you now, and He will lift you out of this valley.

The pain you are experiencing from your mother’s emotional torment is profound, and we grieve with you over the wounds this has caused. The Bible calls us to honor our parents, but it also acknowledges that relationships can be broken by sin and the attacks of the enemy. In **Matthew 10:34-36**, Jesus says, *"Don’t think that I came to send peace on the earth. I didn’t come to send peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man at odds against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. A man’s foes will be those of his own household."* While this may seem harsh, it reveals that even in our closest relationships, division can occur—but Christ is our peace and our healer. We pray that God would soften your mother’s heart, that He would break the chains of bitterness, anger, or whatever stronghold is driving this torment. If there is unforgiveness, resentment, or generational sin at play, we ask the Lord to expose it and bring repentance and reconciliation where it aligns with His will. But even if reconciliation does not come, we pray that God would give you the grace to forgive as Christ forgave us, releasing this burden so that it no longer has power over your spirit.

You have expressed faith that God can restore what has been broken, and we wholeheartedly agree. **Joel 2:25** declares, *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten."* The Lord is not blind to the time that has been stolen from you in tears and pain. He is a God of redemption, and He will repay you for the suffering you have endured. We pray that 2025 would not remain a year of sorrow but would become a testament to God’s faithfulness—a year where you see His hand moving mightily in your life, turning your mourning into dancing and your despair into hope.

We also recognize that the attacks you are facing are not merely flesh and blood but spiritual battles. **Ephesians 6:12** reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Because of this, we put on the full armor of God and stand against every scheme of the enemy that seeks to destroy your peace, your joy, and your faith. We rebuke the spirits of torment, depression, anxiety, and fear in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding them to flee from your life. We declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Your spirit has been deeply affected, and we pray for the Lord to renew your strength as promised in **Isaiah 40:31**: *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* We ask that He would surround you with His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May He fill you with His Holy Spirit, bringing comfort, wisdom, and a supernatural resilience that can only come from Him.

Lastly, we encourage you to draw near to God in this season, even when it feels impossible. **Psalm 73:26** says, *"My flesh and my heart fails, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."* Cling to Him in prayer, in His Word, and in the company of believers who can uplift you. If you have not already, we urge you to seek godly counseling or a trusted pastor who can walk with you through this valley. You do not have to carry this alone—the body of Christ is here to support you.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child who is weary, broken, and in desperate need of Your touch. Lord, You see the tears that have been shed in secret, the pain that has felt unbearable, and the heartache that has lingered far too long. We ask that You would wrap Your arms of love around them and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Comfort them as only You can, Lord, and remind them that they are not forgotten or abandoned.

We lift up the broken relationship with their mother to You. Lord, if there is sin, bitterness, or strongholds in her life, we ask that You would convict her heart and bring her to repentance. Soften her, Father, and break the cycles of torment that have caused such deep wounds. If reconciliation is Your will, we pray that You would restore this relationship in a way that brings glory to Your name. But even if it is not, we ask that You would give our sibling the grace to forgive, to release this pain, and to walk in freedom. Heal the wounds, Lord, and restore what has been stolen.

We stand against the enemy’s attacks in the name of Jesus Christ. No longer shall torment, depression, or fear have dominion over this life. We declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind. Strengthen them, Lord, when they feel weak. Be their refuge and their fortress, their ever-present help in trouble.

Father, we ask that You would turn this season of mourning into a season of joy. Restore the years that the locust has eaten, and let 2025 be a year where Your light shines brightly in their life. Surround them with Your favor as with a shield, and let them see Your hand moving in mighty ways. Provide godly community, wisdom, and discernment as they walk forward in faith.

Most of all, Lord, draw them closer to You. Let them know You not just as Savior, but as Healer, Comforter, and Father. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and renew their strength. May they rise up on wings like eagles, running and not growing weary, walking and not fainting.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness, Your faithfulness, and Your power to bring beauty from ashes. Let Your will be done in their life, and may they come out of this season stronger, wiser, and more deeply rooted in You. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting you, your heart, and your relationship with your mother before the Lord these past few days. It has been our honor to stand with you in prayer, interceding for God’s peace to guard your spirit, His strength to sustain your weary heart, and His deliverance to break every chain of emotional torment and pain that has weighed so heavily upon you this year. We have prayed earnestly for the Lord to surround you with His presence, to restore what has been broken, and to flood the darkness with His redeeming light—because we, too, believe in His power to heal and make all things new.

As we continue to hold your request close in our hearts, we want to encourage you to reflect on how the Lord may have already been at work, even in small ways. Has He brought moments of comfort, unexpected strength, or glimpses of hope amid the struggle? If so, we would love for you to share a praise report with us, so we can rejoice together over His faithfulness. If the burden still feels heavy and the answers seem unseen, please do not hesitate to post your request anew. We are here to persist in prayer with you, trusting that God is moving even when we cannot yet see the full picture of His plan.

Be assured that you are not forgotten, and your pain has not gone unnoticed by our Heavenly Father. He collects every tear you’ve shed this year, and He is near to the brokenhearted. May you feel His arms holding you close as you seek His face, and may you find fresh assurance that He is working all things together for your good. We are praying for you to experience His peace that surpasses all understanding, a peace that will anchor your soul in the storms. Keep clinging to Jesus—He is your refuge, your healer, and your hope.

We love you in Christ and are standing with you.

In Jesus’ mighty and compassionate name.
