I need prayer tonight please. Today I have been separated for 3 months from the man I thought was my soul mate. I have stood in faith & wholeheartedly believed wo would reconcile. I would have sworn God had even spoken to me, telling me He was going to reconcile us but I am doubting all that now. Maybe I just wanted to feel that way. Who knows?! I don't want to continue asking God for something he has no interest in doing. And I have stood in faith and prayed through scriptures this entire time convinced God would restore our relationship. Praying in the scripture give enormous hope to a broken heart. I realize by praying in the scripture I am just continuing to convince myself John & I will reconcile. I am going to have to quit praying in the scripture in order to get over John. I have asked God to show me clearly tonight if this is what He wants me to do. Please pray with me that I will hear an answer tonight. I love the Lord and will continue to praise Him but I"m no longer going to stand in faith if there is no need to. After reading the replies to my post yesterday I have really been pondering on what God wants for my life and so on... I have always been a believer & have always prayed but now I'm wondering this, if its God's will then it shall be & if it's not God's will it won't be...then what is the point of me asking for anything? Why not just give thanks only in prayer? I am certainly not knocking prayer I just honestly don't know the answer to that question.

I understand how are feeling and it's awful I went had a broken engagment almost 5 years ago i am still healing from it doesn't happen over night but you will get better i promise and will never adandon you remember that!! and stay strong!!! from one girl to another keep your head up and god bless!! and always remember god will never give you more then you can handle

Father God, reconcilation is a process and time to you is not measured. I come inti agreement with Nicole requesting a word from you on her stance. Father, we both know you hate divorce and I also know women hate waiting- please send a word quickly in her alone time while she is waiting and attentive listening for a response- give her peace in YOUR decision, and we will be careful to give uoui all the glory and honor and prasie, amen.

Dear Nicole

Please do not arrive into any conclusion ... Let holy spirit lead you & you know the holy spirit is not a spirit of confusion...It will surely speak to you through the word of God or through anyone whom he has chosen to deliver the message for you...And your path shall be clear...God never delays..he is always on right time...Get strong in Lord & wait for his guidance..Amen & Amen

Dearest Nicole!

I can sense that you are so very brokenhearted. You know that God is with you.I will pray for you that He woul;d show you His answer and that you would have an open heart to accept His answer. You know that God's timing is not our timing and God's ways are different from ours.

Please, try to think of it this way: Maybe God has something better for you..Let Him guide you day by day and know that HE is Lord .It is sometimes hard for us to accept what is coming our way, but HE will never leave us. Try to find Peace with that and you will see that if you surrender your burdens , there will be some new ways to be discovered...Be Blessed

Maybe God just wants you to surender your life to Him completely, whatever He choses to do in your relations?

Hi, Nicole

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. (Proverbs 3:5-10, Eng KJV +)

Starting with those wonderful words, you can clearly see how flawed human reasoning can be, so doubting the impact of prayer is the result of the devil sowing his wicked weed seeds. If prayer was a waste of time because God's will is going to be done anyhow, then why did Jesus spend so much time in prayer; it was a way of life for Him - not just thanking but also asking.

From my sister, firstlady's, post, I have learned that women hate waiting - well that would explain a lot concerning my past dealings with woman :), but patience IS a beautiful virtue that we simply have to attain; who knows if that's what this is all about: waiting on God to attend to our earnest appeals. If you can decide now that you will persist in prayer like the widow of Luke 18, and just pray harder if things get tougher, you will see a breakthrough! The Lord will transform John's heart in a miraculous way.

Mind you, looking at your status, I see that you are not married to John, in which case it is possible that God has other plans for you. Hmmm, tricky, because you don't want a second best option. I would say it is probably best to just spend time with the Lord recognizing that really, He is the only one that you need to feel fulfilled every whit. So your approach is perfect. I will join you in prayer for guidance, clarification and patience.

Trust and obey, there's no other way.

This scripture is helpful:

Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy. (James 5:11, Eng KJV +)

May the Lord bless you, Nicole.

PS: Many people are wondering what Jesus meant when He said: "Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown." (Revelation 3:11, Eng KJV +)

Evidentially, what is soon for God may seem forever to us. We need God's awesome perspective. Let's pray for that too!

Nicole - I'm enduring a similiar situation & God had to get me to a place where my desire is His will, not mine. I had to get to a place that I know God knows better than me & He only wants the best for His children. That doesn't mean that I don't pray - I do. And I pray for Nathan - I pray for his salvation - I pray for a renewed relationship or friendship - I miss him. And I pray God strengthens my faith to be at peace whatever the outcome because He loves me. I pray for You and for God to bring you His peace & wisdom. I pray for restoration of this relationship, if it is His will, and if not, that you would be open to the 'better' that would be instore for you. I pray He heals your brokenness and builds you back up into something even more beautiful than you already are. God bless you!

Philippians 4:19…But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

For those seeking employment bless them with new jobs or better jobs. Bless us with promotions, raises, and increase in our finances. Bless each of us with wisdom to become wise stewards over all that You have or will bless us with. Let our lifestyle be shaped by the Word of God. Bless those that are married to be faithful to one another, love one another, and respect the union of marriage. And all my family and friends that are not saved God I ask that You will send someone into their lives and minister the gift of salvation unto them. Save my family and friends Lord Jesus. I ask all of this in Jesus’ name. Amen!!!

Father in the name of Jesus, I present myself before you and before the throne of grace. I know that even if I don't understand it, the purpose you have in me going through this suffering and this broken heart that I am experiencing will be worth it at the outcome. However, right now, I can't...
