Broken Heart

I am going through an extremely difficult time in my life. I have lost something very important to me and the pain is crushing. My heart is broken. I cry out to God day after day, but I am still in pain. I just want Him to help me with this burden, fill me with His love, to heal my broken heart. Its so hard and I know I can't do it alone. I also want to develop a closer relationship with God. I need him in my life at all times, not just when I've fallen on hard times. Please pray for me.
