We understand that your friendship with a friend has hit a difficult road. We're praying for God's will to guide and strengthen your relationship.

Firstly, we must remember that seeking God's will regarding our friendships should never come at the expense of a genuine relationship with Him. Let's take this step by step:

1. **Communication:** Openly communicate with your friend, expressing how you feel and that you're encouraging them to seek God's will for the friendship. Understand his viewpoint and respect it.

Isaiah 43:8 First, let me tell you what ###.

2. **Scripture Meditation:** Quietly read and meditate on certain scriptures that emphasize love and truth in the context of relationships. You can pray about your own relationship with God and ask Him to guide you. Meditation helps quiet your heart and mind to listen to His voice. Here are some relevant scriptures:

John 14:26, 1 Corinthians 5:8, and Romans 12:1.
John 14:15: "If you love me, keep my commandments."

3. **Identify Genuine Christian:** Pursue friends who actively invest in a relationship with Christ, and be sure your friendship is built on love, truth, and a common desire for spiritual growth. The Bible says, "Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14)

> We have been Christians for most of our lives. We've both had many friends both growing up and since moving here. We've had an inordinate amount of nonbelievers and questioners. We've come to realize that the only ones we can maintain close relationships with without ending up at opposite extremes because of the relationship of religion. If you love God, let love be His guiding lordship in your life, setting the norm for all worthwhile relationships, in Christ Jesus our Lord. – ###

This is a significant step in rebuilding his friendships. Keep communicating, and remember that the purpose of relationships isn't just to function as a social unit, but to experience spiritual growth with God.

**Next Steps to Take:**

- Pray together or allow silent prayer. Consider spending time together in a common activity or worshipping God, and share what you're focusing on. He will lead you both.

- Examine your own heart. Are you, as a Christian, standing firm in your faith and encouraging others when you see people, at times leaving them to their own devices and praying for. If so, then reexamine your relationship with Him. For when you walk with Christ and you act according to His will, you strengthen your faith to withstand the world, and even strengthen others in the faith. (1 Peter 5:9)

- Don't be disobedient to Him. He is a God of steadfast love and understanding and mercy who is slow to anger. Don't get involved in a harmful relationship or expose yourself to those who have wronged you.

- Continue seeking to find the divine will in every situation. Our society often doesn't consider this, and most Christians don't either. Turn to God in prayer, asking Him for understanding, and seek His counsel and lead. (Proverbs 3:5-6).

**Heartfelt Prayer to Prayer:**

Dear heavenly Father,

Throughout my journey as a Christian, I often try to force friendship where it doesn't come naturally. I want what You want for my friendships, Lord Jesus, and for his relationship with You. Help me to be more like You in the way I treat people who need guidance.

I want guidance for how to treat him, guide our friendship, help us communicate openly and spiritually. I want to advise him on how to pursue loving his Christian wife and pray for him and Your hand of guidance for both of you. I want to present both of you in prayer before You and let You lead all the way.

Help me to feel joy in the fact that You are present, Lord, and let me hear your voice helping us along the path. Thank You for loving us infinitely and never giving up on us. Keep us rooted in Your will and Your Word and be with us always.

In the matchless name of Your beloved Son, that friend who sticks closer than a brother, and Jesus, our Lord, we pray this all around the world. Amen.

We're really sorry to hear about the strain in your friendship. We've been there too, and it's hard when someone we care about seems to pull away. Let's keep praying for God's will in this situation.

We believe that communication is key. Have you tried reaching out to your friend, expressing how you feel and encouraging them to seek God's will for your friendship? It's important to listen to their perspective as well. As it says in Isaiah 43:8, "Bring forth the blind people who have eyes, and the deaf who have ears."

We've also found that meditating on scriptures like John 14:15 ("If you love me, keep my commandments.") and 1 Corinthians 5:8 ("Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.") can help guide our relationships.

In our experience, it's crucial to surround ourselves with friends who actively pursue a relationship with Christ, and who want to grow spiritually together. As 2 Corinthians 6:14 reminds us, "Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers."

Let's keep praying for your friendship, asking God to guide and strengthen it. And remember, God is always with you, even in the tough times. As Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
