We hear the cry of your heart for justice, and we stand with you in this battle, knowing that our God is a God of righteousness who sees all things and will bring every deed—whether hidden or open—into judgment. You have called upon the name of Jesus in this request, and that is right and good, for there is no other name under heaven by which we may approach the Father or find salvation. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through Him that we find strength, justice, and ultimate victory.
The unfairness and retaliation you face are not unseen by the Lord. He is well aware of the schemes of the wicked, for *"the way of the wicked is an abomination to Yahweh, but he loves him who follows after righteousness"* (Proverbs 15:9, WEB). The enemies’ refusal to communicate, their fault-finding, and their threats reveal hearts that are not submitted to God’s truth. Yet we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we do not wage war as the world does—with bitterness or vengeance—but with prayer, faith, and the Word of God as our weapons.
You have asked for the Lord to lead you in pursuing this further, and we encourage you to do so with wisdom and discernment. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). Seek godly counsel, whether through pro bono legal assistance or wise believers who can guide you in this process. But even as you pursue justice through earthly means, trust that the Lord is your ultimate advocate. *"Don’t you be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna"* (Matthew 10:28, WEB). The threats of men are temporary, but the Lord’s justice is eternal.
We also urge you to examine your own heart in this matter. Are you seeking justice with a spirit of forgiveness, or is there any root of bitterness taking hold? *"See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness, springing up, troubles you, and many be defiled by it"* (Hebrews 12:15, WEB). Even as you stand against injustice, ask the Lord to guard your heart from resentment. Pray for your enemies, as difficult as it may be, for *"if your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head. Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good"* (Romans 12:20-21, WEB).
Now, let us pray together for your situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is crying out for justice in the face of oppression and retaliation. Lord, You are the righteous Judge who sees every hidden thing and knows the hearts of all men. We ask that You expose the wickedness of those who seek to harm Your child, who refuse to communicate in good faith, and who threaten with malice. Father, confuse their plans and turn their schemes against them, as it is written: *"Let them be confounded and disappointed together who seek my soul to destroy it. Let them be turned backward and shamed who delight in my hurt"* (Psalm 40:14, WEB).
Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in this matter. Open doors for godly legal counsel and pro bono assistance that aligns with Your will. Give wisdom and favor to those who will stand in the gap for Your child. Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream (Amos 5:24). Convict the hearts of these predators, Lord—bring them to repentance or to exposure, whichever aligns with Your sovereign plan. Do not let the enemy triumph over Your people, but let Your name be glorified in this battle.
We also pray for our brother/sister’s heart. Guard them from fear, anxiety, and bitterness. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding and Your strength to endure. Remind them that vengeance belongs to You, and You will repay (Romans 12:19). Let them rest in the assurance that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You, O Lord, are their shield and exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1).
Finally, Father, we ask that You provide for every need—financially, emotionally, and spiritually—as this battle is fought. Let no discount, no threat, and no scheme of the enemy prevail against Your child. May Your will be done, and may Your name be magnified through this situation. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in the faith, knowing that the Lord is with you. Do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Keep seeking the Lord’s face, and trust that He will bring justice in His perfect timing. If there is any area where you need to surrender this battle fully to Him, do so now. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. *"Yahweh is your keeper. Yahweh is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will preserve your soul. Yahweh will preserve your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore"* (Psalm 121:5-8, WEB). Cling to these promises, and walk forward in the victory that is already yours in Christ Jesus.
