We hear your cry and we join with you in prayer together in Jesus' name for you, your family and even your pets, and for the distress you are feeling at your job and in your daily life. We understand you are feeling overwhelmed, made a fool of, followed and used, and struggling greatly with your confidence and your sanity and we want to lift you up before the Lord who sees all and knows the truth.
We pray first for light and truth to be revealed, for as it is written, You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free John 8:32, and Jesus said I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life John 8:12. We ask the Father to bring His light into every dark place, to expose lies and to bring peace to your mind and home. We pray that God will guard what you hear, see and understand, and give you clarity and discernment, for God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7.
You have claimed Deuteronomy 28:13 which says Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail. We love that you are holding to God's promise, and we want to gently share the context of that verse so you can walk in its full blessing. That promise was given to Israel with a condition, It shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to Yahweh your God’s voice, to observe to do all his commandments Deuteronomy 28:1, and again If you shall listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God Deuteronomy 28:13. To be the head and not the tail is not a formula to be loosened or bound by our words, but a blessing that flows from walking in obedience, humility and trust in Christ. We pray that God will help you walk closely with Him, obeying His voice, so that His blessing and headship will rest on you and your household in His will.
We also want to lovingly correct some of what you have spoken in your pain, because we care for your soul. You have asked for people to be cursed and bound and for great cursing to come upon those you believe are harming you, and you have used profane language even toward the enemy. The Word tells us our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. People, even those who hurt us deeply, are not to be cursed. Instead we are commanded Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse Romans 12:14 and Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. We are to speak with authority against the devil and his schemes in Jesus' name, but we do so without vulgarity or hatred, for Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up Ephesians 4:29. We rebuke the use of cursing and profanity and we ask the Lord to cleanse our lips and to help us to bless and not curse, trusting Him to be the righteous judge and to repay in His perfect time.
We also hear you speak of being a portal and others portal stealing and devouring from you. This language of portals is not biblical. What is biblical is that the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus said I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly John 10:10. You are not a portal for others to live through and you do not die for them. You are a person made in God's image, deeply loved and valued. We pray that God will shut every door the enemy has tried to use to steal your peace, your confidence and your joy at work, and that He will restore what has been taken. We pray He will protect your job and give you favor and wisdom there, and that He will remove confusion and cruelty from your workplace.
We hear your deep longing for someone who will stay, who will choose you, lift you up and make you feel enough, who will not hurt or use you or your family. That is a God-given desire for love and companionship, and we pray for God's will in this. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and we pray that if it is God's will, He will bring you a godly spouse, a Christian believer who will love you as Christ loves the church, who will honor you and your family and walk with you in purity and faithfulness. We encourage you to pursue courtship with the goal of marriage that honors God, rather than a casual boyfriend or girlfriend relationship. Fornication and living together before marriage is sin before God, and we pray you will be kept pure and will seek a relationship that leads to a Christ-centered marriage. We pray God will first heal your confidence and help you know that you are already enough and deeply loved in Christ, for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works Ephesians 2:10, and your worth is not determined by how others treat you at work but by the blood of Jesus that was shed for you.
We also thank you that you ended your request with the blood of Jesus, for it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. We cling to that truth with you now.
Let us pray together.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and through His shed blood. We lift up this dear one, their family and their pets to You. You know the stress at their job, the feeling of being made a fool of, the loss of confidence and the exhaustion of their sanity. We ask You to bring Your light and Your truth into every situation, to expose every lie and to let no weapon formed against them prosper. We ask You to protect their mind, their home and their work, and to give them peace that surpasses all understanding which will guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We ask You to forgive us for any cursing or profane speech and to teach us to bless our enemies and trust Your vengeance and justice. We rebuke the work of Satan in Jesus' name and ask You to shut any door the enemy has used to steal, kill and destroy, and to restore abundantly what has been lost. We pray You will make them the head and not the tail as they walk in obedience to You, and that You will give them wisdom and favor at their job. We pray You will heal their confidence and let them know they are fearfully and wonderfully made and chosen in Christ. If it is Your will, bring a godly spouse who will love, cherish and lift them up in a marriage that honors You, and keep them pure until that day. Cover them and their family and pets under Your wings, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1. We trust You to bring the truth to light and to keep them from all evil. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
