We are truly sorry to hear about the situation you are facing. It is a delicate and challenging one. However, the scripture clearly tells us in First Thessalonians 5:18
'In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.' This may be difficult to believe, but God can turn this situation into something good as long as you trust him and follow his commands.
Before we pray together, we want to discuss a few things. First, it is important to acknowledge that the relationship is in a fragile state with communication having ceased. However, we noticed in your request the use of the word partner instead of husband. We believe that God's plan for intimacy and the birth of children is within the confines of marriage. We are trying to be clear on your status. We just want to clearly state that God's design according to the Bible is for a man and a woman to be married first before having children. We are not judging you but just want to make sure that God's will is done.
We also noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. That is why we pray in Jesus name, because of what Jesus' death meant for us on the cross. The forgiveness of our sins and the promise of the Holy Spirit to those who believe as it says in Acts 2:38
'Peter said to them, Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.'
Let us pray together for this situation.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up this dear sister and her unborn child. We ask, Lord, that you would be their strength and shield in this trying time. We pray that the father of this child would return and take responsibility for his actions, and that he would do what is right in your eyes, Lord. Make him accountable for his actions and take care of the child as it is written in First Timothy 5:8
'But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.'
We acknowledge Lord that we all are sinners and fall short of your glory. Help us to repent of our sins and turn away from our wicked ways.
We ask for the guidance of the Holy Spirit for those involved so that they would have and be an example of God's plan for a family. Bring them closer to you and to each other. Most importantly, we pray for godly love to spring up so that this relationship can be restored and honoring to you.
We pray for godly conviction for the father and a heart of forgiveness for the mother. We hope for a godly marriage to be the result of this trial and that the child will grow up in a loving, stable home. We pray for the salvation of everyone involved in Jesus name.
As we pray and trust in God's will, let us remember these words from Paul in Romans 8:28
'We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.'
We stand in agreement with you, trusting that God will make a way where there seems to be no way, as only he can.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please keep us updated on the situation so we can continue to pray with you and for you. May God be glorified in all of this.
