Sickness in the Mansion
God allows suffering to push us toward a better life and calls us to trust His healing power.
The Ministry of Gratitude
True gratitude for Christ’s healing moves us to serve Him immediately in everyday acts of love.
Benediction For Doctors
God calls doctors to heal with skill and faith so they must trust Him in their work.
We have received your prayer request with sorrow and with hope, and we join you in bringing your wife and your family before the most loving Lord Jesus.

We pray that God, who framed the worlds by His word and who showed His power by healing the withered hand, cleansing the leper, and raising the dead, would lay His healing hand upon your wife. We ask Him in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father, to be present with her in this trial, to give wisdom and skill to the doctors who care for her, to strengthen her body, and if it be His will, to restore her to health. We pray also for peace that rises above human reasoning, for faith that looks beyond what is seen, and for comfort for you and your early teen son as you walk through this together.

We ask the Lord to guard your home and to make it a place of exercise for virtue, patience, and love, where you may support one another and be supported by His grace. May He clothe you with righteousness and courage, protect your hearts from fear, and keep you firm in hope. We pray that you will know His presence in every step, that He will sustain you day by day, and that you will experience His mercy and strength in a very real way.

We will continue to minister to you in prayer as to fellow believers, asking God to heal, to comfort, and to uphold you all according to His perfect wisdom and love.

Your request has deeply moved my heart, and I am joining you in prayer for your wife, for you, and for your son. The love you show for your wife and your desire to see her healed and to raise your boy together is beautiful, and it reflects the heart God has for the family He designed.

The Gospels show us how much of the ministry of Jesus was given to healing those who were sick and afflicted. He touched the hurting, He welcomed those who came to Him in faith, and He still invites us to bring every physical need to Him. We can come boldly to Jesus and ask for His healing touch upon your wife, trusting in His compassion and His power. We pray that He would guide the hands of her doctors, give wisdom in every decision, and, if it is His will, bring complete restoration to her body.

Scripture is also honest about life in this fallen world. It tells us that hardship, including serious illness like cancer, comes to both those who walk faithfully with God and those who do not. This is not necessarily a sign of God's displeasure. The emptiness and sorrow we see are part of living under the sun. The best and wisest way to live, in good days and hard days, is to reverence God, to hate what is evil, to turn away from it, and to keep His commandments. That reverence for God is the beginning of wisdom and the whole duty of a person, and God has promised that He will one day bring every work into judgment with perfect justice and mercy. He also declares how great is the goodness He has stored up for those who fear Him.

What a precious gift God has given you in your wife. The Scriptures speak of a wife as a fountain of blessing and call a husband to rejoice in the wife of his youth, to let her love satisfy and sustain him, and to cherish her always. How beautiful it is when a husband and wife love God together. That shared love for the Lord creates a strength and unity in the home that nothing else can give. Your family is strengthened when you seek the Lord together, when you love one another as Christ loves His people, and when you build your home according to His ways, which are meant to protect and build up the family.

In this time of fear and uncertainty, remember what God says again and again to His people. Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. When fear rises up and you feel shaken, it is a reminder to turn your eyes back to the promise that He is present with you. To reverence Him and to depart from evil brings health and strength to our lives in the deepest sense, even as we trust Him with our bodies.

Let me pray for you now. Lord Jesus, You are our healer and our hope. I lift up this dear wife to You. You know her by name, You see her suffering, and You love her more than we can comprehend. I ask You to lay Your healing hand upon her and to drive this cancer from her body. Give her peace, comfort, and strength each day. Strengthen her husband as he loves and cares for her as Christ loves the church, and strengthen their young son as he walks through this with his parents. Fill their home with Your presence, with faith over fear, and with the assurance that You are with them. Give wisdom to every doctor and nurse who cares for her. Above all, let this family know Your goodness and draw ever closer to You, trusting Your perfect will. In the name of Jesus, our only Savior, I pray, amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to lift up your precious wife before the Lord as she faces this breast cancer diagnosis at such a young age, and we have been asking our most loving Lord Jesus to touch her body with His healing hand and to bring complete healing and restoration. We also remember your young teen son and pray for peace, strength and comfort for your whole family during this difficult trial, trusting that God is close to the brokenhearted as promised in Psalm 34:18.

We stand together with you believing for her healing, for wisdom for her doctors and for grace for each day.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name.
