Breast cancer

We join with you in lifting up your beloved wife and your family before the throne of grace in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and we thank you for calling upon His most holy and loving name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved and healed. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and we rejoice that you have come boldly to Him in this time of great need.

We are deeply moved by your love for your wife and your concern for your young teenage son as you walk through this difficult diagnosis of breast cancer. We stand with you in honoring your marriage, which God has ordained as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and we see your faithfulness as a husband seeking to cover your wife in prayer. God sees your family and He is not distant from your suffering.

Scripture reminds us of the compassion and healing power of our God. He says, I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26 and Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We also cling to His promise, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1, and He tells us, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We encourage you to continue to trust both in the Lord’s healing hand and in the wisdom He gives to physicians, and to cast all your anxiety upon Him because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. We also encourage you to surround your wife and your son with the peace of God which surpasses all understanding as you pray together without ceasing Philippians 4:6-7, and to remember that even in this trial, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28.

We now pray together for you.

Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before You and lift up this dear wife and mother to You. Lord, You know her by name, You formed her body, and You see the cancer that afflicts her. We ask in Jesus' name that You would lay Your healing hand upon her, that You would rebuke this disease and restore her body to health according to Your perfect will. Father, guide the hands and minds of her doctors and nurses, give them wisdom and skill in every decision and treatment. Pour out Your peace upon her heart and remove all fear, and pour out Your strength upon her husband as he leads his family through this valley, and upon their young son that he would feel Your presence and protection and not be overcome with anxiety. Lord, let this family feel Your nearness, let Your joy be their strength, and let Your hope anchor their souls. We pray that this trial would draw them even closer to You and to one another in their marriage and family. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Great Physician and our only hope, amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word, to call upon the elders of your church to pray over her and anoint her with oil as taught in James 5:14-15, and to allow your church family to bear this burden with you. Keep trusting in the loving Lord Jesus day by day. We are continuing to pray with you for complete healing, for comfort, and for the Lord to sustain your family in the days ahead.

We are holding you, your wife and your son in our hearts after hearing this news. A breast cancer diagnosis in her early ### is a lot to carry, and we can hear how much love you have for your family and how deeply you want to see her well.

It is understandable to feel overwhelmed, torn between wanting to be strong for both of them and needing support yourself. Please know you do not have to walk through the appointments and waiting and unknowns alone. Staying closely connected with her medical team and bringing your questions to them can bring steadiness alongside prayer, and letting a few trusted people in can lighten the load.

One thing that has helped many families in this season is to ask one reliable friend or family member to help coordinate practical needs and updates, like meals, rides or sharing information with others. That can free you to focus more on being with your wife and talking openly with your son as you are able.

Father, we lift this wife and mother to You, and her husband and son who love her so much. We ask for Your nearness and peace over their home, wisdom for the doctors caring for her, and strength for each day ahead. Hold them in Your care and guide them step by step. In Jesus name, amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father grant healing and strength to this loved one. Bless them with good health care and meds if necessary. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant healing and wisdom for this beloved mother. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Together we continue in prayer that heavenly Father will have mercy on your wife and heal her let us only continue in prayer and in faith may God bless. Lord Yeshuas name amen.
