We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear sister ### in this time of deep trial. Father God, we know that You see her pain—physical, emotional, and spiritual—and we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon her. The journey through breast cancer, surgery, and chemotherapy is grueling, and we pray for strength to endure, comfort in suffering, and restoration of her body according to Your will.
Lord Jesus, we rebuke the spirit of fear and doubt that may be whispering lies to her heart. You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), the Great Physician who bore our infirmities (Isaiah 53:5). We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed, and we stand on Your promises. But we also acknowledge that healing may come in ways we do not expect—through medicine, through time, or through the ultimate healing of eternity with You. Give her faith to trust You, even when the path is dark.
We lift up her struggle with weight and self-image, Lord. The enemy has distorted her view of herself, especially in the wake of childhood abuse. Father, replace every lie with Your truth: that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that her worth is found in Christ alone, and that You are making all things new (Revelation 21:5). Help her to see herself through Your eyes—not as a victim, but as a beloved daughter, redeemed and cherished.
We also address the sin of people-pleasing, which is rooted in fear rather than love for You. Scripture warns us, "The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe" (Proverbs 29:25). Lord, break the chains of seeking approval from others and replace them with a holy desire to please You alone. Let her find her identity in Christ, not in the opinions of others.
Father, we ask for a revelation of Your love to flood her heart. The trauma of abuse has left deep wounds, but Your love is deeper still. Heal her heart, restore her mind, and let her experience the fullness of Your peace. Help her to love herself in a way that honors You—not in vanity, but in the healthy self-respect that comes from knowing she is Your masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10).
We pray for her physical recovery, Lord. Strengthen her body as she undergoes treatment, and give her doctors wisdom. If it is Your will, restore her fully. But above all, draw her closer to You. Let this trial refine her faith like gold (1 Peter 1:7) and deepen her dependence on You.
Holy Spirit, comfort her in moments of weakness. Remind her that she is not alone—You are with her, and so are we, her brothers and sisters in Christ. Surround her with godly community to uplift and encourage her.
We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and healed. For there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We trust in Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your perfect plan for ###’s life. Amen.
