Right now, you may feel overwhelmed and heartbroken and confused about the future, but God is faithful. He wants to comfort and guide you. However, we want to address a few things, and pray with you about your situation.

We commend you to the word of God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. It is important to pray in Jesus name.

You are feeling as if this person is supposed to be your future husband. It can be painful when a relationship ends, especially when you believe that the person is your future spouse. First seek God to help you discern if this is his will. However, we commend to you that 2 Corinthians 6:14 clearly tells us, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness? Secondly, marriage should be strongly endorsed before or in place of even considering courtship. We commend you to consider a spouse rather than a partner. Being a boyfriend or girlfriend should be considered courtship with the goal being marriage to another Christian Believer.

We also must consider that sex before or outside marriage is fornication or possibly adultery and should be addressed if in the context. It is important to be pure and not live in sin. According to 1 Corinthians 6:18, Flee sexual immorality! Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.

We must also consider that same sex marriage or relationships is also forbidden, immoral, and called homosexuality. The bible clearly states in Leviticus 18:22, You shall not lie with a man, as with a woman. It is an abomination.

We lift up our sister to you, asking for your comfort and guidance during this difficult time. We know that you have a plan for her life and that you are working all things together for her good and your glory.
