Breakthrough from sins - hidden anger, bitterness and unforgiveness

**Breakthrough from sins - hidden anger, bitterness and unforgiveness**
I got a dream this morning where I met many people whom I knew or not knowing in my real life. The last scene I saw in the dreams was I pointed my fingers to all the roommates living with me in the same huge apartment, and scolding them the same bad names. I have noticed there are many hidden anger, bitterness and unforgiveness due to all the misled, wrongs, hurts and ignorance, rejection and traumas. Pray that God will work together with me by the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome anger, bitterness and unforgiveness, so that I can enter the kingdom of God. There will be no rooms or legal doors from the evil ones to come and kill, steal and destroy in my life. In Jesus' name. AMEN

We join you in lifting this burden before the Lord, for we know that hidden anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness are like roots that grow deep in the heart, choking the life God intends for His children. Your dream reveals what the Spirit is already exposing—these sins are not just affecting you but are also influencing your relationships and opening doors to the enemy’s schemes. The Word of God is clear: *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil"* (Ephesians 4:26-27, WEB). Unresolved anger and bitterness give the enemy a foothold, but praise God, He has provided a way for you to be free through repentance, forgiveness, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Scripture warns us that *"if you have bitterness, jealousy, self-seeking, confusion, and every evil thing, there will be disorder and every evil practice"* (James 3:16, WEB). But God calls us to something higher: *"Put away from yourself a perverse mouth. Put corrupt lips far from you. Let your eyes look straight ahead. Fix your gaze directly before you. Make the path of your feet level. Let all of your ways be established. Don’t turn to the right hand nor to the left. Remove your foot from evil"* (Proverbs 4:24-27, WEB). This is not just about behavior—it’s about the transformation of your heart. Jesus said, *"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God"* (Matthew 5:8, WEB). Bitterness and unforgiveness cloud our vision of Him and hinder our ability to enter fully into His kingdom’s work in and through us.

We also rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). If you have not already surrendered every area of your life to Him—including these hidden sins—we urge you to do so now. Confess them before the Lord, for *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). This is not just a one-time act but a daily surrender, allowing the Holy Spirit to search your heart and reveal anything that displeases God.

Now, let us pray together for your breakthrough:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who has courageously brought these hidden sins into the light. Lord, You know the depths of their heart—every wound, every hurt, every rejection, and every trauma that has planted seeds of anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness. We ask You to uproot these things by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Father, forgive them for harboring these sins, for they have not realized the full extent of the damage they cause. Cleanse them with the blood of Jesus and create in them a clean heart, renewing a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10).

Lord, we rebuke every spirit of anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness that has taken residence in their life. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to leave now and close every door that has been opened to the enemy. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them instead with Your love, Your peace, and Your forgiveness, so they may extend the same to others—even those who have wronged them. Help them to release every offense, every grudge, and every resentment, trusting You to vindicate and restore what has been broken.

Father, we pray for divine healing over every wound that has fueled this anger and bitterness. Heal the traumas, the rejections, and the hurts that have shaped their responses. Let them experience Your love in such a profound way that it casts out all fear, all pain, and all bitterness (1 John 4:18). Teach them to walk in forgiveness daily, just as You have forgiven them through Christ. Remind them that forgiveness is not excusing sin but releasing the offender into Your hands, trusting Your justice and mercy.

Lord, surround them with godly relationships that reflect Your love and grace. If there are roommates or others in their life who have been affected by these sins, soften hearts and bring reconciliation where it aligns with Your will. Let their home be a place of peace, not strife, and let their words be seasoned with grace (Colossians 4:6).

Finally, Father, we ask that You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them walk in the freedom You have purchased for them, no longer bound by the chains of the past. Empower them to enter fully into the kingdom work You have prepared for them, unhindered by the weight of these sins. We declare that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that no scheme of the enemy will prevail against them.

We thank You, Lord, for the breakthrough that is coming. We trust in Your faithfulness to complete the work You have begun in them. May they walk in victory, reflecting Your glory in every area of their life. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, we encourage you to take practical steps in this journey. Begin by writing down the names of those you harbor resentment toward and release them to God in prayer. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you forgive them as Christ has forgiven you. Replace every bitter thought with the Word of God—meditate on Scriptures about love, forgiveness, and peace (e.g., Colossians 3:12-15, Ephesians 4:31-32). If there are relationships that need restoration, seek godly counsel on how to approach them with humility and grace.

Remember, this is not a battle you fight alone. The Holy Spirit is your Helper, and He will strengthen you as you yield to Him. Stay in prayer, stay in the Word, and surround yourself with believers who can support and encourage you. The enemy may try to bring back old memories or stir up anger, but you have the authority in Christ to resist him, and he will flee (James 4:7). Walk in the freedom Christ has won for you, and do not look back. The kingdom of God is at hand—step into it with a heart made whole by His love.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting your heart before the Father, especially in this deep battle against hidden anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness. Your dream and the conviction that followed are clear signs of the Holy Spirit at work, exposing areas where the enemy has tried to take root. We have been earnestly praying that God would break every chain of resentment in your life, replacing it with His supernatural peace and the power to forgive as Christ forgave us.

If the Lord has already begun to move in your heart—softening areas of hardness, bringing repentance, or granting you victory over these struggles—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs to seek freedom in these same areas. The body of Christ is strengthened when we witness God’s faithfulness in one another’s lives.

But if this battle still feels heavy, if the anger or bitterness lingers like a weight you can’t shake, we urge you to post this request again. We are here to stand with you in the gap, to pray without ceasing until the strongholds are demolished and the Lord’s deliverance is complete. Remember, this is not a fight you face alone—the Spirit of God is your Helper, and we are your brothers and sisters in Christ, interceding alongside you.

May the Lord continue to open your eyes to His truth, flood your heart with His love, and fill you with the courage to release every offense at the foot of the cross. He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you. Do not grow weary in seeking Him, for He is your victory. We are believing with you for total freedom, that no scheme of the enemy will prosper against your life, and that you will walk in the fullness of what Christ purchased for you on the cross.

In Jesus’ mighty and matchless name.
