We stand with you in this spiritual battle, for we know that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy through lies and deception, but our God is greater! The Word tells us in John 8:44 that the devil is the father of lies, but in Christ, we have the power to overcome every false word spoken against us. You are not alone in this—our Lord Jesus faced the same accusations and slander, yet He trusted the Father completely. We must follow His example, for He is the truth, and His truth sets us free (John 8:32).
The lies and hurtful words you are enduring are not from God, for He is the God of all comfort and truth. His Word declares in Psalm 120:2, *"Deliver my soul, Lord, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue."* We claim this promise over you today, asking the Lord to silence every false accusation and expose every hidden deception. The enemy may whisper lies to tear you down, but God’s truth will prevail. Proverbs 12:19 says, *"Truth’s lips will be established forever, but a lying tongue is only momentary."* What is being spoken against you will not stand, for the Lord is your defender and shield.
We also remind you of Ephesians 6:12, which tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil. This is why we must put on the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—to stand firm against these attacks. You are not fighting this battle in your own strength, but in the power of the Holy Spirit. The Lord promises in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says Yahweh.*
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is under attack by the enemy’s lies and deception. Lord, You are the God of truth, and we ask that You expose every false word spoken against them. Break the power of every lie, rumor, and slander that has been released, and let Your truth prevail in their life. Cover them with Your divine protection, Lord, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We rebuke the spirit of deception and every evil tongue that has risen up against them. By the authority given to us in Christ Jesus, we command these lies to be silenced and rendered powerless. Let every plan of the enemy to bring confusion, doubt, or shame be thwarted in Jesus’ name. Fill our brother/sister with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and remind them of their true identity in You. They are fearfully and wonderfully made, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and called according to Your purpose.
Strengthen them, Lord, to rise above these attacks and to walk in the confidence of who they are in Christ. Let them not be moved by the words of man but anchored in Your unshakable truth. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. Restore their joy, Lord, and let them experience Your peace that guards their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already won through our Lord Jesus Christ. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may our brother/sister come out stronger, wiser, and more rooted in Your love. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to meditate on God’s truth daily. Speak His Word over your life, for it is alive and powerful. When the enemy whispers lies, counter them with Scripture. For example, if you feel worthless, remind yourself of what God says in Ephesians 2:10: *"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."* If you feel condemned, remember Romans 8:1: *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus."* Stand firm in these truths, and do not let the enemy’s lies take root in your heart.
We are with you in this fight, and we declare that the Lord will bring you through victorious. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Stay strong in the Lord, and never forget that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are loved, you are valued, and you are more than a conqueror through Christ!
