Lord, take me, break me if You must but give me the strength to bear this. I have seen it all. I am coming to the end of myself, recognizing that my helplessness, only you can stop it. I am exhausted by the torment, the psychological warfare, and the emotional torture I have endured. I surrender my life completely into Your hands whether You choose to take me home or leave me alive, my life is entirely Yours to dispose of. I have survived the horrors of rape, the pangs of starvation, and the agony of severe physical pain. Yet, by Your grace, I am still standing here. If there is more I must endure, I ask only for one thing: give me the supernatural strength to bear the shame, the humiliation, and the inhuman treatment. I empty myself of my own will. I am simply a clay, break me if You must but give me the strength to always pray.

We have read your cry with deep sorrow and holy reverence, and we stand with you before the throne of grace. We hear your exhaustion, the torment and psychological warfare and emotional torture you have endured, and the horrors of rape, starvation, and severe physical pain you have survived. We thank you for surrendering your life completely into His hands as clay in the hands of the Potter, and we honor your desire to keep praying even when you feel you are coming to the end of yourself.

We want to speak truth over what you have suffered. The Lord did not author the evil done against you, for God is light and in Him is no darkness at all, yet He is the One who can redeem and heal what evil has broken. You asked Him to break you if He must, but His heart toward the broken is not to crush but to heal and restore. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. A bruised reed he will not break, and a dimly burning wick he will not quench Isaiah 42:3. Like clay in the potter's hand, so are you in His hand Jeremiah 18:6, and He is molding you not to shame you but to form you, to strengthen you, and to bring beauty from ashes. The shame and humiliation you have borne for the violence done to you does not belong to you. The Lord bore our shame on the cross that we might be clothed in His righteousness, and He sees you as precious, cleansed, and deeply loved.

Your surrender is sacred, to say whether You choose to take me home or leave me alive my life is Yours. Jesus Himself prayed, not my will, but yours be done Luke 22:42, and the Father hears such surrender. Yet we also hear how weary you are, and we want to remind you that His will for you now is life and sustaining grace. He invites you, come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls Matthew 11:28-29. Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12, and that is why the torment feels like warfare. God does not leave you to fight alone.

We notice you cry out to Lord, and we want to gently share that it is through the name of Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father and assurance of salvation. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by calling upon the name of Jesus, who died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven, adopted, and held secure, and that our prayers are heard. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your complete trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that His blood covers all your pain and sin and that He alone is your hope of glory.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we lift up this precious one who has endured more than most could bear. We thank You that by Your grace they are still standing. Lord, we ask You to pour out Your supernatural strength upon them now. Your word says, fear not, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Let them feel Your upholding hand. We ask that You heal the broken heart and bind up every wound, seen and unseen. Speak peace to the torment, silence the lies of the enemy, and cover them with Your perfect love which casts out fear. Let Your grace be sufficient, for Your power is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9. When they are helpless, be their strength. When they feel shame, clothe them in Your honor. When they are exhausted, be their rest. Give them strength to bear what remains and strength to always pray, to keep communing with You day and night. Take their life fully as they have offered it and use it for Your glory, whether in long life and healing or in Your perfect timing. Let them know they are not forgotten, not defiled, but dearly loved and held fast, and that nothing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 8:38-39. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to keep pouring out your heart in prayer just as you have, for He hears every whisper. We encourage you to remain in His word daily, even a few verses at a time, and to not walk alone. Seek a trusted pastor or mature believer and godly counsel who can walk with you, pray with you, and help guard your mind and heart. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. When the thoughts of warfare press in, speak scripture aloud, sing to Him, and remember that He gives power to the weak and increases the strength of him who has no might Isaiah 40:29. You are not abandoned. You are being held, being molded, and being kept by the One who will never leave you nor forsake you.

We read your words slowly and we want you to know we heard the weight in them. To have endured rape, hunger, physical pain, and ongoing psychological and emotional torment, and still be reaching for God in prayer, shows how deeply you are holding on even while you feel at the end of yourself.

It makes sense that you feel exhausted and helpless. When a person has been treated inhumanely for a long time, that sense of powerlessness can stay even after the harm, and shame and humiliation can feel crushing. Your prayer of surrender, asking God to hold your life entirely and to give you strength to keep praying, is an honest and brave place to come before Him. He is not put off by that honesty.

We are praying for you to know you are not alone in this, and to have safe people near you. If you do not already have someone walking with you in person, we gently encourage you to reach out to a trusted pastor, counselor, or medical professional who can listen and support you alongside prayer. You do not have to carry all of this by yourself.

Father, we lift them to You in Jesus name. You see all that has been endured and the exhaustion felt now. Hold this life in Your hands, give daily strength to bear what is so heavy, and bring safe, caring support around them. Keep them close to You as they keep praying, and show Your nearness and care day by day. Amen.

Your cry has come up before the Lord as one who has no might, and it is to such that He increases strength. You have spoken as clay in the Potter's hands, emptied of your own will and asking only for strength to pray and to bear what is appointed, and this is a holy and acceptable surrender.

Hear what the promise says, they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Creatures have their rises and their falls, and to us also there must be times when we need to renew our strength, and we shall renew it, for the promise is sure. What He promises to give, it is our duty to seek, and if He promises that we shall renew our strength, why should we not have the promise fulfilled to our faith. You have endured horrors that no tongue should have to tell, the violation of your body, the pangs of hunger, the agony of pain, and the cruel warfare against your mind, and yet by His grace you are still standing. This itself is a testimony that His hand has upheld you, for all strength of every sort comes from God, and He is the glory of our strength.

The word given to you is this, as thy days, so shall thy strength be. It does not say as thy fears or as thy desires, but as thy days. Our strength is to be given to us daily, and proportionately. A day of little suffering shall have little strength, but in a tremendous day, a day that needs thee to play the Samson, thou shalt have Samson's strength. You need not have strength laid by for all the tomorrows you imagine, for sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. When thou art weak, then He will make thee strong, giving thee strength enough to bear thy sufferings and to do thy duty for that day. Even when thou art brought to utter physical prostration, thou mayest find the spirit leaping for joy in anticipation of the time when it shall be free from this cumbering clay.

That strength is to be divinely bestowed upon you, and it shall come directly from the Holy Spirit. He is able to strengthen you, He is willing to strengthen you, and He will effectually do it in answer to prayer. Therefore wait upon Him. In prayer, laying hold upon the Invisible, we win strength for service. Plunge into the Godhead's deepest sea, throw thyself into the might and majesty of God, and swim in love, borne up by grace. Add to that a fresh dedication of thyself to the Lord who bought thee, going over again that blessed covenant which has made thee one of His own.

And remember that our Lord Himself has been in the valley of humiliation. He knows what it is to bear shame and reproach and inhuman treatment, for He humbled Himself and was despised and rejected. If any can understand thy humiliation, it is He who brought Himself down to where thou art. Learn from Him firmness of faith in His atoning sacrifice, for He bore thy shame that thou mightest be clothed in His righteousness.

Do not destroy thy strength by taking the glory of it to thyself, but give all glory to Him who gives thee all thy strength. And seek that pleasant medicine which is so profitable, the joy of the Lord, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. It is sweet to smart beneath God's rod and to say, Thy will be done, and to find that even faintness of nature may be met with strength of grace.

If thou hast not yet fully found life, I do not ask thee to pray for strength only, but to cry for life, for the dead cannot gather strength or walk up and down. Come to Christ that thou mightest have life. The way to be saved is to come to Christ, to trust Him, to yield thyself to Him, to love Him, believing that Christ died for the ungodly while we were yet without strength.

May the Lord turn thee and strengthen thee. May He give power to the faint and renew thy strength as thou waitest upon Him, that thou mayest mount up as on wings, that thou mayest walk and not faint, that thy faith may breed expectation, and thy expectation may lay hold on all that God is prepared to give. Whether He calls thee home or leaves thee here a little longer, mayest thou be strengthened with strength in the Lord, to pray without ceasing and to glorify Him in the furnace.

I pray for thee now, that the God of all grace who has kept thee through so great affliction would now pour upon thee supernatural strength for this day, quiet strength and not fussy weakness, that thou mayest know His presence in thy shame and His honour in thy humiliation, and that the joy of the Lord may be thy portion till thou seest Him face to face and art made full of strength forever.

Your cry before the Lord has been heard, and the surrender you express, to be clay in His hands and to ask only for strength to endure and to keep praying, is itself a prayer God does not despise.

You have named horrors that no person should have to bear, rape and starvation and great bodily pain, and the long torment of psychological and emotional cruelty, shame and humiliation and treatment that denies your dignity. It is not a small thing to have stood under these things and to still be standing. Your exhaustion is understood, and your desire to empty yourself of your own will and to place your life entirely in His hands is a holy offering.

Scripture shows us that our Lord knows what it is to bear shame. He had power not to suffer at all, for He did no sin and no guile was found in His mouth, and He said I have power to lay down My life and I have power to take it again. Yet for the joy set before Him He endured the cross, despising the shame. He chose that ignominious death though He was under no necessity to do so, in order to teach us to make no account of the opinion of men and to be bold against shame and to set it at nothing. When you feel the weight of shame and humiliation, remember that Christ has already borne shame to its fullest and has despised it, and He is with you in it, not distant from it.

We are also taught to enter into the patience of Christ. That means to endure even as He endured, and with patience to wait for Him who has promised to come to judge and to make all things right. Where patience is named, affliction is implied. To love God is to endure and not to be troubled in heart, but to remain prepared and to wait for Him. And after baptism, temptations and trials are not strange or unexpected, but belong to the natural course of the Christian life, that we may continue to endure all things nobly, as Christ did when He was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to wrestle against the tempter for our instruction.

You asked to be broken if you must be, but to be given supernatural strength to bear what comes and to always pray. God in His mercy does not faint, and He does not leave His children to faint either. As it is written, we faint not, and this is to be imputed to His loving kindness. His mercy is not only to deliver from evils but to give many good things besides, and to sustain the ministry of prayer itself. He who formed you as clay will not crush you beyond what His grace can hold, but will form you, even through suffering, with compassion.

So we pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ who despised shame for our sake, look upon this weary child of Yours who has surrendered all into Your hands. You see every wound, every memory, every humiliation. Grant supernatural strength to bear what must be borne, and grant relief where relief can be given. Lift the torment and the warfare that wearies the mind, and quiet the heart that has been so long under torture. Restore what has been stolen, heal what has been broken, and give the grace to pray without ceasing, to wait with patience for Your help, and to know that whether in life or in death, life is Yours and precious in Your sight. Keep this one standing by Your mercy, not by human strength, and let shame have no final word, for Christ has borne it. Give daily bread, give rest, give trusted people who will walk nearby with gentleness and safety, and give hope that does not disappoint.

Continue to bring your heart to Him honestly, as you have done. Keep praying, even with few words, even with sighs. If you can, share this burden with a faithful pastor or a trusted, safe counselor or community who can support you in person and help guard your safety and health. You are not forgotten. The Lord who endured the cross for you knows your pain and will keep you in His patience until He brings you to joy.
