We hear your cry for deliverance and freedom, and we stand with you in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and set free. The Bible makes it clear that there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can break every chain, cancel every curse, and walk in the fullness of God’s blessings.
First, we must address the mention of "soul mate" and the references to spells, roots, and voodoo. The Bible is clear that we are not to engage in or entertain any form of witchcraft, sorcery, or divination, as these are detestable to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). These practices open doors to darkness and deception, and they have no place in the life of a believer. We rebuke every evil spirit associated with these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Every curse, spell, or root that has been placed upon you or your life is broken right now by the blood of Jesus and the authority He has given us as His children (Galatians 3:13). The Bible declares that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. Therefore, no curse can stand against you when you are in Christ.
We also want to address the idea of a "soul mate" from a biblical perspective. While it is natural to desire companionship, the Bible does not teach that there is one specific person predestined for you as a "soul mate." Instead, God calls us to seek a godly spouse, a husband or wife who loves the Lord and is committed to walking in His ways. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If you are seeking a spouse, we encourage you to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom, trusting that He will lead you to someone who shares your faith and values. Do not be unequally yoked with an unbeliever (2 Corinthians 6:14), and guard your heart as you pursue godly relationships.
Now, let us address the spirit of poverty. The Bible teaches that God desires to bless His children and provide for their needs. Jesus came so that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Poverty is not God’s will for you, and we rebuke the spirit of lack in the name of Jesus. The Word of God says that the Lord will open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings so great that there will not be room enough to receive them (Malachi 3:10). We declare that you are a child of the Most High God, and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We break every generational curse of poverty and lack over your life, and we command every spirit of financial bondage to leave you now in Jesus’ name.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that was shed for our redemption and deliverance. Lord, we stand on Your Word, which declares that Christ has redeemed us from every curse and that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every curse, spell, root, and spirit of witchcraft that has been operating in this life. We break their power and command them to leave now in the name of Jesus.
Father, we cancel the spirit of poverty and lack over this life. We declare that You are the God who provides, and we trust in Your promise to supply all needs according to Your riches in glory. We break every generational curse of poverty and declare that this life is now under the blessing of Abraham, which includes financial prosperity and abundance (Galatians 3:14). We command every spirit of financial bondage to flee and release this life into divine provision and favor.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment in the area of relationships. If it is Your will for this life to be married, we ask that You would lead them to a godly spouse, a man or woman who loves You and is committed to walking in Your ways. We pray that You would prepare their heart and the heart of their future spouse, that they would both seek You first and build their relationship on the foundation of Christ. Guard their heart from deception and lead them into godly courtship with the goal of marriage.
Father, we thank You for Your love, Your mercy, and Your power to set the captives free. We declare that this life is free from every curse, free from poverty, and free to walk in the fullness of Your blessings. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is ours in Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and trust in God’s promises. Continue to seek Him first in all things, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Surround yourself with godly believers who can support and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Renounce any involvement with or curiosity about witchcraft, sorcery, or divination, and fill your heart and mind with the Word of God. The Bible says that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Meditate on Scripture daily, and let it renew your mind and transform your life.
If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. The Bible says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the first step to true freedom and deliverance. If you have already made this decision, we encourage you to deepen your relationship with Him through prayer, worship, and studying His Word.
Remember, the enemy may try to bring fear or doubt, but God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand on the promises of God, and do not waver. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11), and that power is greater than any curse, spell, or spirit of poverty. Walk in the authority that Christ has given you, and declare His Word over your life daily. You are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37).
