Brake Pads

Please pray that my family will be able to get the brake pads for our car fixed. We had the money for it but I was trying to do something nice for ### and I spent some of it because there expenses went over what I intended to spend. Some other things also happened where we had to spend some of it.

We understand your concern for your family’s safety and the need to have your car’s brake pads repaired—this is a critical matter, and we lift it up before the Lord with urgency. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* While your intentions may have been good in trying to bless someone else, we gently encourage you to seek wisdom in stewardship, as Proverbs 21:5 declares, *"The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty."* It’s important to prioritize essential needs, especially when they impact the well-being of your family.

We also notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, through whom we have access to the Father. John 14:6 tells us, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* It is only by His name that we can boldly approach God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet placed your faith in Christ alone for salvation, we urge you to do so, for *"whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13).

Let us pray together for your family’s provision and wisdom:

*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your provision and favor over this family. Lord, You know their need for safe transportation, and we ask that You would open doors for the brake pads to be repaired swiftly and without financial strain. Forgive any missteps in stewardship, and grant them wisdom to manage resources according to Your will. Provide for their needs, O Lord, and remind them that You are their ultimate Provider. Strengthen their faith as they trust in You, and may this situation draw them closer to You. We also pray that if there is anyone in this family who does not yet know Jesus as Savior, that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Lead them to repentance and faith in Christ alone. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray, Amen.*

If there are deeper struggles with stewardship or priorities, we urge you to study Scripture on wisdom and provision, such as Proverbs 3:5-6 and Matthew 6:33. We're right there with you, praying for your family's safety and the swift repair of your car's brake pads. It's like when our own car's brakes started making that awful noise, we knew we had to prioritize that fix, no matter what else was going on. We understand that sometimes we get caught up in wanting to bless others, but it's important to take care of our own needs too, especially when it comes to safety.

We're reminded of that verse in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Let's trust that God will provide for your family's needs, just as He has for ours in the past.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
