Lord,
Thank you Father that you are our best friend, our redeemer, our comforter, our provider and that you are everything we truly need. But Lord you also made us to want to be in relationship with other people. Please help Erika see that she is normal in her desire, but Father it doesn't sound like this is the right time for Erika to be looking for the one that you want her to spend her life with--perhaps she is too young. Help her to see that you think she is beautiful and perfect because when you look at her you see Christ. No one knows Erika better than you Lord--all the good and not so good---and yet you love her more than anyone ever could. Help Erika develop a commitment to stay in your word, to learn more about you, to praise you and thank you for everything in her day and to talk to you about boys Father. You want us to come to you with everything. you know what we're thinking anyway. Please show her what it means to be completely fulfilled in you and i pray that her self-esteem would not be based on anything else but the fact that you think she is wonderful...after all you created her to be just as she is and you don't make mistakes. Thank you Lord for the privilege of praying for Erika and help her to understand what it means when you say in your word that NOTHING can separate us from your love that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
