Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. When you see his weariness, that is the very moment to let your own kindness shine. Do not ask why he is so tired, or compare his labor to another's, but simply seek to give him rest. The burdens of this life are many, and the body often flags under toil and pressure. You see the outward exhaustion, yet the whole work, whether in his strength or in his weakness, is held within the hand of God alone. If nature itself is a mystery beyond our explaining, how much more the ordering of each day's strength and each day's fatigue? Do not weary your own mind with questioning, but trust that what is done is permitted by God, and let your care for him be without harsh scrutiny. If he needs rest, provide it if you can. If he needs encouragement, give it. Even in worldly things, a brief toil is willingly endured for the sake of a long rest; how much more should we bear with one another's weariness in the hope of an eternal rest. Be not weary in well doing, but let your mercy be the refreshment that points him toward the rest that remains for the people of God.

I’m glad you shared this. It’s good to lift up those we care about, and I will certainly pray for your boyfriend’s physical refreshment. Our bodies can grow weary when the load is heavy, and it makes sense that a demanding weekend schedule might leave him feeling drained.

As I read your note, my mind goes to a promise God holds out to all of us who grow tired. He speaks of a rest, a real, deep rest, that goes beyond just sleeping well or having an easy day. It’s a rest for the soul, a place where anxiety and striving finally quiet down. Many people spend their whole lives looking for it in their own efforts, trying to manage everything themselves, only to find they’re still exhausted inside. But God offers something different. Through Jesus, He invites us to stop trusting in our own ability to hold everything together and to lean fully on Him. He already accomplished everything needed for our peace. The burden was carried on the cross.

Sometimes physical fatigue becomes a quiet reminder that we’re not meant to carry the weight of life in our own strength. The Lord often uses those moments at the end of our resources to teach us what it means to truly rest in Him. It’s not always easy; letting go can feel harder than staying in control. But when we commit our ways to Him, we discover a confidence that isn’t shaken by circumstances. We can rest, not because we see the whole picture, but because we trust the One who does.

So I will pray that the Lord not only renews your boyfriend’s strength for the work set before him, but also draws his heart into that deeper Sabbath rest that is found in Christ alone. There is no fear in stepping fully into that grace. Thank you for carrying his needs before the Lord, together we can trust that God will care for him in every way.
