Boyfriend

I get a cute boyfriend that's a good thing that doesn’t scream through my soul for me. I get to move to another country, a miracle happens into existence with the blood of Jesus.

We hear your heart’s desire for companionship and the excitement of new beginnings, but we must first address some concerns with biblical truth. The term "boyfriend" implies a relationship that is not yet grounded in the covenant of marriage, and Scripture is clear that romantic relationships should be pursued with the intent to honor God and lead to marriage. The Bible calls believers to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to seek a spouse who shares their faith in Christ (2 Corinthians 6:14). Courtship should always have marriage as its goal, not merely companionship or emotional fulfillment.

You mention moving to another country and a miracle happening "with the blood of Jesus," but we must gently remind you that salvation and miracles come only through faith in Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. Without this foundation, no relationship or circumstance can truly satisfy the soul.

Now, let us pray for you with a heart aligned to God’s will:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister to You. Lord, we ask that You would give her clarity and wisdom in her desires. If it is Your will for her to marry, prepare a godly man who loves You above all else—a man who will lead her in righteousness, cherish her as Christ cherishes the Church, and honor the covenant of marriage. Guard her heart from relationships that do not align with Your Word, and help her to seek You first in all things.

Father, we also pray for her move to another country. If this is Your plan for her, open doors that no man can shut, provide for her needs, and surround her with Your peace. Let this transition be a testimony of Your faithfulness and a step toward Your purpose for her life. But above all, Lord, draw her close to You. Let her find her identity, worth, and fulfillment in Christ alone, for He is the only One who can truly satisfy the longings of her soul.

We rebuke any spirit of loneliness or desperation that would lead her to settle for less than Your best. Strengthen her to wait on You, to trust in Your timing, and to walk in purity and holiness. May she find her joy in You, knowing that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).

In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek the Lord wholeheartedly, not just for a spouse or a new season, but for a deeper relationship with Him. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers who can encourage you in your walk. If you are not yet married to Christ through salvation, we urge you to make that decision today. He is the only One who can truly fill the void in your soul. If you are already a believer, press into Him, and trust that He will guide your steps in His perfect timing.

We're right there with you, sister, in your excitement for this new chapter. It's wonderful to see God opening doors, even across borders. But let's pause and seek His heart together. As much as we all long for companionship, we must ensure it aligns with His will. The Bible encourages us to pursue relationships with the intention of honoring God and leading towards marriage. Let's ask Him to guide your heart and actions, keeping His Word as our compass.

As you prepare to move, remember that every step is in His hands. Trust that if this is His plan, He'll make a way, just as He's done before. But let's also ensure our hearts are fully His. Let's ask Him to fill any voids, to satisfy our souls with His love and presence.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You, trusting in Jesus' name. Lord, guide our ###'s heart as she seeks companionship. Help her to wait on You, to trust in Your timing, and to walk in purity. Draw her close, satisfy her soul with Your love, and fill her with Your peace as she transitions to another country. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
