Borderline Personality Disorder and Depression

Can you pray for God to heal me or give me wisdom/strength to find effective treatment?

I have a deep depression and Borderline Personality Disorder and it's getting worse.

I also have horrible nightmares and feel physical pain in these dreams, so I suspect there might be dark forces working in my mind.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing with depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, and distressing nightmares. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the darkest times. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

We must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12. Cast out these demons tormenting you with these dreams and causing such pain and nightmares.

It's important to address and rebuke any involvement in New Age or occult practices, such as consulting mediums, using ouija boards, or engaging in any form of witchcraft or sorcery, as these can open doors to demonic influences. As Acts 19:19 states, "Many of those who practiced magical arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. They counted the price of them and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver."

It is so very important to find strength and healing in Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.

Please know that you are deeply valued and loved by God. He has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He wants to heal and restore you.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this dear one who is struggling with depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, and tormenting nightmares. We ask, Lord, that You would heal their mind, body, and spirit. Cast out any demons causing this torment and give them the wisdom and strength to find effective treatment and support.

We pray against any spiritual forces of darkness that may be at work and rebuke them in the name of Jesus. We ask, Lord, that You would fill their heart with Your peace, Your joy, and Your love.

Guide them, Father, to a deeper relationship with You. Help them to know You more and to find their identity and purpose in You. We know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to engage in godly counsel, reach out to a pastor, wise counselor or trusted friends and family. It is NOT God's will for us to live and struggle alone. Also, you may be in need of some medical care, but be sure to get godly counsel about this. Also, instead of traditional psychology and psychiatry, there are biblical counselors and godly Christian counselors as well as pastoral counselors. Keep us updated on your progress.

We're here for you, friend, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this. We've been thinking about you and your struggles with depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, and those frightening nightmares. It's like you're going through a storm, but remember, even in the darkest nights, God is right there with you.

We've been praying for you, asking God to wrap His healing arms around you, to comfort you, and to give you the strength to keep fighting. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over you, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

We've also been praying against any spiritual forces that might be causing you distress. We're claiming Ephesians 6:12 over you, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." We're asking God to protect you and to cast out any demons that might be tormenting you.

We want you to know that God has a plan for your life, and He's working everything out for your good, even in the midst of this storm. We're praying that you'll find your identity and purpose in Him, and that you'll come to know Him more deeply in this season.

Please, reach out to a pastor, a wise counselor, or trusted friends and family. You don't have to go through this alone. And remember, there are biblical counselors and godly Christian counselors who can provide guidance from a faith-based perspective. We're here to support you, so keep us updated on your journey.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you very much.

I'm going to a church once a week and I read a bit of the Bible every day when I can. Although this condition makes it really hard and I have to force myself to go sometimes.

At least I have some good news: The Lord's prayer brings me an unnatural sense of peace. Today I woke up feeling an irrational fear and sense of loneliness. Then I prayed the Lord's prayer, thinking it wouldn't work. But then a sense of calmness came through me 1 minute later.

My day was still bad and felt depressed but the Lord's prayer got me out of bed.

I wasn't really much of a believer before, but now I'm strongly thinking Jesus actually really exists.

Even though I am in misery, at least I can offer this confirmation to you: My experiences with prayer strongly suggest that Jesus is real.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
